Weekend breakfast cravings led us to one of Regina’s most loved breakfast spots—and it did not disappoint. From Mediterranean-style dishes like shakshuka to indulgent Nutella French toast and a hearty meat platter, every bite was worth it. It does get busy on weekends, but the food and service make it totally worth the wait. If you’re planning a weekend brunch, go early and thank me later 😉

Visited Kimchi Restaurant in Regina and had the most amazing experience! From Korean iced coffee and Seoul City Coffee Bubble Tea to the creamy rosé tteokbokki and spicy salmon roll — every bite was delicious. The ambience with romantic K-drama vibes and super friendly service made it even better. If you haven’t tried Kimchi yet, you definitely should!

A few weeks ago, on my way to a meeting on Albert Street, I stopped by Gwalia for a quick meal — and it was amazing. From pav bhaji to chaat, dosas, sweets, and namkeens, this place brings flavours from all over India.

I tried their chilli cheese dosa and a warm masala chai. The dosa was super spicy — just the way I like it — and the chai was perfectly comforting.

As December gets closer, the Christmas spirit is slowly taking over my days. From carol singers visiting our office to houses glowing with lights everywhere, I’ve finally started feeling that festive warmth again.

I’ve always wanted to put up a Christmas tree, but life, space, and timing never aligned. This year feels different though… even if it’s just the two of us enjoying it.

Sharing a little bit of my day, my thoughts, and the tiny festive spark that’s growing in me.

What started as a super busy and slightly disappointing day at work actually ended on the sweetest note. Picked up my friend, tried takoyaki, discovered an amazing dessert spot, and then sat for hours at a Vietnamese restaurant until we were literally the last ones there. Good food + good conversations = the perfect way to end a hectic day. 💛
