An Indian hip hop group from Karnataka. The group was subsequently tied up with many radio stations in Bengaluru and Mysuru.

They were one among the earliest and most significant popularizers of Kannada Conscious Rap subgenre, and are widely considered one of the greatest and most influential groups in the history of hip hop music in Karnataka. Active from 2012 to present, the rap group endured the usage of proper kannada literature, that many viewed as being respectful towards kannada, as well as to its glorification o

f mixture of old school and new school of hip hop beats with local flavour. In spite of Bengaluru being a hub for EDM & Mainstream music, the group has 100+ shows over 50+ venues all over bengaluru. The group was also known for their deep hatred towards the stupefied lyricism which is still running in Indian music industry. The original lineup formed in 2012 consisted of Mc Bijju, Martin Yo, T’Jay, DJ Lethal A & S.I.D. John Bastin, J.O.Y & Rahul Dit-O joined later in 2014. The 1st ever track of Hip Hop Kannadigaru (HHK) was recorded in a small home studio set up in 2012 called “Hip mathu Hop” which was an instant hit among the youth, and since then the crew never looked back, from street shows to paid concerts, from jingles to movies HHK have been the same from day one by delivering better quality in every work they have come across.
