Creamy Nescafé Milk Latte 🥛☕️

"Start your day with a warm hug in a mug ☕️ – my Creamy Nescafé Milk Latte made with love in Swarnali’s Own Kitchen 🏡💖

Here’s the full recipe for making 2 cups of delicious Creamy Nescafé Milk Latte 🥛☕️:

☕✨ Creamy Nescafé Milk Latte – Recipe for 2 Cups ☕🥛

📝 Ingredients:

3 tsp Nescafé Classic instant coffee (1.5 tsp per cup)

3 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)

2 tbsp hot water

2 cups full cream milk (or any milk of your choice)

Optional: A pinch of cinnamon, cardamom, or cocoa powder for dusting

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Make Whipped Coffee:

In a small mixing bowl or cup, add:

3 tsp Nescafé

3 tsp sugar

2 tbsp hot water

Whisk the mixture briskly using a spoon, whisk, or fork for 2–3 minutes until it becomes light, fluffy, and creamy.
(This is your “beaten coffee” base.)

2. Heat & Froth Milk:

Pour 2 cups of milk into a saucepan.

Heat on medium flame until it’s hot but not boiling.

Optional: Use a hand blender, frother, or pour milk into a bottle and shake it (carefully) to make it foamy.

3. Assemble the Lattes:

Divide the whipped coffee equally between two mugs.

Gently pour hot milk into each cup over the coffee mix.

Stir gently to blend the coffee and milk beautifully.

4. Serve With Love:

Top with foam, dust with cinnamon or cocoa if you like.

Serve hot and enjoy your cozy Creamy Nescafé Milk Latte with a biscuit, toast, or just your peaceful morning. ☀️💕

A nourishing box for my little princess 💕

Filled with love and goodness!

🍚 Dry fruits ghee rice for a royal touch, paired with sweet apple cubes 🍎 to keep her energized and smiling all day.

Dry Fruits Ghee Rice Recipe 🍚

Ingredients:

1½ cups cooked & cooled rice (preferably basmati)

Ghee – 2 to 3 tsp or as required

Cashewnuts – 6 to 8, split into halves

Almonds – 6 to 8, thinly sliced

Golden raisins – 1½ tbsp

Cardamom – 2 pods, crushed

Salt – a small pinch

Sugar – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)

Method:

Heat ghee in a pan over low-medium heat.

Add crushed cardamom pods and let them release their aroma.

Add cashews and almonds; fry until golden.

Add raisins and sauté till they puff up.

Add the cooked and cooled rice. Mix gently to avoid breaking the grains.

Add a pinch of salt and the sugar. Toss lightly.

Cook for a minute on low heat, letting all flavors combine.

Serve warm or pack it lovingly in a lunchbox!

TONIGHT'S DINNER PLATTER 🍽

🌼 Comfort in every bite! 🌼

A wholesome Bengali dinner platter featuring:

🍛 Bengali-style Dim'er Jhol (Egg Curry) – perfectly spiced and soulful

🥘 Bhendi Peyaj'er Chorchori – stir-fried okra with caramelized onions

🍚 Steamed rice topped with green chilies

🥗 Fresh salad

🥭 Sweet ripe mango slices

🥣 Cool dahi (curd)

🍘 Crisp roasted papad

💧And a glass of water to complete the goodness!

🍛 Bengali Style Egg Curry – Dim'er Jhol Recipe:

🥚 Ingredients:

For marinating the eggs:

Eggs – 6, hard-boiled, peeled & slit lengthwise (4 slits per egg)

Salt – ¼ tsp

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

For the curry paste:

Onion – 1 large

Red ripe tomato – 1 large

Garlic – 6 cloves

Ginger – 1 small piece
(Grind all of the above into a smooth paste)

For the curry:

Salt – to taste

Sugar – ½ tsp (optional)

Tomato ketchup – 1 tsp

Mustard oil – as needed (approx. 4 tbsp)

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Cumin powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp, finely chopped

For tempering:

Cumin seeds – ½ tsp (optional)

Bay leaf – 1

Green cardamom – 2 pods, lightly crushed

Cinnamon – 1 medium stick, broken

Cloves – 3 pods

Black peppercorns – 4

👩‍🍳 Method:

1. Marinate & Fry the Eggs:

Rub the boiled eggs with ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp turmeric.

Heat mustard oil in a kadai or pan. Fry the eggs until golden spots appear. Remove and keep aside.

2. Prepare the Tempering:

In the same oil, add cumin seeds (if using), bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and peppercorns.

Sauté for a few seconds till fragrant.

3. Cook the Masala Paste:

Add the onion-tomato-garlic-ginger paste to the pan.

Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the paste thickens and oil begins to separate.

4. Spice it Up:

Add turmeric, red chilli, cumin, and coriander powders. Mix well.

Sauté for another 2–3 minutes till the spices are roasted and aromatic.

5. Add Tomato Ketchup & Sugar:

Stir in the ketchup and optional sugar to balance the flavors.

6. Form the Gravy:

Pour in about 1½ to 2 cups of warm water (adjust as per desired consistency).

Add salt to taste. Bring to a boil.

7. Simmer with Eggs:

Gently place the fried eggs into the gravy.

Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 6–7 minutes, so the eggs absorb the flavors.

8. Finish:

Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.

Give it one last gentle stir.

🍚 Serve hot with:

Steamed rice or soft roti for a comforting Bengali meal.

Tiffin Love for My Darling Daughter ❤️

Daughter's for today 🌿🌸

A wholesome packed with warmth and nutrition — soft pooris, comforting dal, juicy mango cubes, and crunchy almonds 🌞✨

In frame:
🌸Soft pooris (Indian deep-fried flatbreads made with whole wheat flour 🫓)

🌿Comforting protein rich masoor dal fry (red lentils)

🥭 Sweet and juicy mango 🥭 cubes

🌻 Crunchy almonds

Made with love from Swarnali's Own Kitchen 💛

Whole Wheat Poori – Quick & Puffy Recipe

Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour – 2 cups

Salt – ½ tsp

Oil or ghee – 1 tbsp (for dough)

Water – as needed (about ¾ cup)

Oil – for deep frying

Instructions:

1. Make the dough: In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour and salt. Add 1 tbsp oil or ghee and gradually add water to knead a tight (not soft) dough. Rest for 10–15 minutes.

2. Roll the pooris: Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each one into a small circle (about 4–5 inches wide). Avoid using dry flour; instead, grease your rolling surface with a little oil.

3. Fry the pooris: Heat oil in a deep pan. Once hot (not smoking), carefully slide in one poori. Press gently with a slotted spoon — it will puff up. Flip and fry both sides until golden brown.

4. Drain & serve: Remove onto a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with dal, sabzi, or even a sweet treat!

💡 Tip: Always fry on medium-high heat for perfectly puffed pooris!

💕White steamed rice 🍚

💕Roti (soft phulkas) flatbreads 🫓

💕garlic tempered potato and pumpkin curry 🍛 (kumror chechki)

💕Masoor dal fry (red lentils soup) 🍲

💕Egg omelette 🍳

💕Freshly cut salad 🥗

💕Creamy homemade curd 🍶

💕Green chilli 🌶

Here’s a simple and flavorful Masoor Dal Fry recipe just like the one in the picture 🌼:

✨ Masoor Dal Fry Recipe ✨

A comforting Bengali-style red lentil curry 🍛

📝 Ingredients:

Masoor dal (red lentils) – 1 cup, washed and soaked in water for 15 minutes

Onion – 1 large, finely chopped

Tomato – 1 large, finely chopped

Garlic – 5–6 cloves, finely chopped

Salt – to taste

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Kalonji (nigella seeds) or Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

Dry red chilies – 2

Mustard oil – as required (2–3 tbsp recommended)

Fresh coriander leaves – 2 tbsp, finely chopped

🔥 Method:

1. Boil the Dal:
In a pressure cooker or deep pot, add soaked masoor dal, turmeric & salt.
Add about 3 cups water or as required water. Cook until soft (3-4 whistles in pressure cooker or 15–20 mins in a pot). Mash lightly if desired (preferably with the back side of a round laddle).

2. Prepare the Tadka (Tempering): In a kadhai or pan, heat mustard oil until it smokes lightly (to reduce pungency).
Add kalonji or cumin seeds and dry red chilies. Let them splutter.

3. Sauté Aromatics:
Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté till golden.
Add tomatoes & little salt, cook until soft and mushy.

4. Mix with Dal:
Pour the boiled dal into this mixture. Mix well. Simmer everything together for 4–5 minutes for flavors to combine.
If it becomes too thick add required water water to adjust the required consistency, check for seasoning if required fix it now.

5. Garnish & Serve:
Turn the flame 🔥 off.
Sprinkle freshly chopped coriander leaves on top, mix well.
Keep covered for 5 minutes.
Tranfer the dal into a serving bowl 🥣.

6. Serving:
Serve hot with white steamed rice 🍚 or roti (flatbreads 🫓), a squeeze of lemon & a dollop of ghee if you like.

Today's School Tiffin Box delight ❤️ 😊

Daughter's for today 🤷‍♀️

In the frame:

Cucumber 🥒 cheese 🧀 sandwich 🥪 on whole wheat bread 🍞.

Gulab jamun for her sweet tooth (and for her friends also) 🍧.

CUCUMBER 🥒 CHEESE SANDWICH 🥪

INGREDIENTS

Whole wheat bread 🍞 2 slices
Cucumber 🥒slices as required
Cheese 🧀 slice 1
Butter 🧈 as required
Mayonnaise as required
Red chilli flakes 🌶 to sprinkle
Mixed herbs 🌿 or oregano to sprinkle

INSTRUCTIONS
Firstly, I had appiled a thin layer of butter 🧈 on a bread slice, then for filling I have placed a cheese 🧀 slice, then cucumber 🥒 slices, sprinkled some red chilli flakes and mixed herbs over it, then covered it with a mayonnaise applied bread 🍞 slice. Then, it was toasted on a griddle over low flame till both sides became golden and crisp, and the cheese 🧀 melted.

Then, cut the sandwich 🥪 into squares and placed it in her .

Daughter's school tiffin box for today 🤷‍♀️

Good morning, friends ❤️

It features golden brown potato cheese paratha, sweet and juicy mango cubes 🥭, and crunchy salted cashew nuts for that perfect mid-day munch.

A wholesome and tasty treat packed with love 💛✨

Here's a short and easy recipe for Potato & Cheese Stuffed Paratha:

🫓 Potato & Cheese Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

2 boiled potatoes (mashed smoothly)

½ cup grated cheese (mozzarella or processed)

1 tbsp chopped coriander finely chopped

½ tsp amchur (dry mango powder)

1/2 tsp red 🌶 chilli powder

1/2 rsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp coriander powder

Salt to taste

Wheat flour dough (for paratha)

Ghee or oil (for roasting)

Steps:
Prepare the stuffing:
In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, cheese & all the other ingredients.

Make the paratha:
Take a dough ball, roll it slightly & add 1-2 tbsp of stuffing in the center.
Seal it like a pouch & gently roll it out.

Roast the paratha:
Heat a tawa, roast the paratha on both sides using ghee or oil till golden & crispy.

Serve hot !!!!
I have packed this parantha with chopped mango 🥭 and cashewnuts to my daughter's school 🏫 tiffin box.

BENGALI COMFORT MEAL🍽

A wholesome homemade Bengali thali to delight your soul straight from Swarnali’s Own Kitchen 🍚🍳

Today's 🍽



Fluffy white steamed rice (sada bhaat) 🍚

Red lentils masoor dal boiled with butter & black pepper, topped with chopped onion 🌰 & green chili 🌶

Soft onion & potato curry in poppy seed paste (aloo peyaj posto) 🥔🌰

A comforting omelette 🍳

Mushroom & veggies stir-fry with a dash of salt, turmeric & red chili powder, tempered with cumin seeds in medium hot oil 🍄🫑🥕🧅🧄

Creamy homemade curd (yoghurt) 🍶

Refreshing slices of cucumber, onion & tomato🥒🧅🍅

Juicy mango slice 🥭

A fiery green chilli for that extra kick! ❤️✨

Here’s a traditional Bengali-style Aloo Peyaz Posto recipe — a comforting potato-onion curry in a creamy poppy seed paste, cooked with mustard oil and Bengali tempering.

🥔 Aloo Peyaz Posto (Bengali Potato Curry with Poppy Seed Paste)

🍽️ Ingredients:

Potatoes – 2 large, boiled, peeled & cubed

Onions – 2 medium, peeled & thinly sliced

Poppy seeds (posto) – 2 tbsp

Green chilies – 2–3 (adjust to taste)

Nigella seeds (kalonji) – 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp

Mustard oil – as required for cooking

Raw mustard oil – 1-2 tsp (to drizzle at the end)

Salt – to taste

Sugar – a good pinch

🔪 Preparation:

1. Soak & Make Posto Paste:

Soak 2 tbsp poppy seeds in warm water for 15–20 minutes.

Drain and grind it with 2–3 green chilies into a smooth paste. Add a little water if needed.

2. Prepare the Base:

Heat mustard oil in a pan until smoking point, then reduce the heat.

Add 1/4 tsp nigella seeds (kalonji) and let them crackle.

3. Cook the Onions:

Add thinly sliced onions and sauté until soft and translucent (light golden).

4. Add Spices & Potatoes:

Add the boiled cubed potatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, and a pinch of sugar.

Stir gently to coat the potatoes well.

5. Add Posto Paste:

Add the poppy seed-green chili paste and mix everything nicely.

Cook for 3–4 minutes on low flame. Add a splash of water if it becomes too dry.

Season with salt to taste.

6. Final Touch:

Cover and let it simmer on low flame for 5 more minutes so the flavors merge.

Finish with a drizzle of raw mustard oil for that authentic Bengali touch.

🍛 Serve With:

Hot steamed rice and some dal on the side — a true Bengali comfort platter!

Kickstart your day with this creamy, dreamy Banana Latte — nature’s sweetness meets morning bliss! 💛

Quick Banana Latte Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 -2 ripe bananas 🍌

1 cup chilled or warm milk (dairy or plant-based) 🥛

1 tsp instant coffee ☕

½ tsp honey or jaggery (optional) 🍯

1 pinch of cinnamon (optional) ✨

Instructions:

Blend banana, milk, coffee, and sweetener till smooth and frothy.

Pour into a glass or mug.

Sprinkle cinnamon on top and enjoy!

Serve chilled for a summer treat or warm for cozy mornings. 🌼
