Sangrama-Wagoora, Irfan Hafeez Lone, on Thursday said that dialogue is the only solution to any problem. While speaking to the media at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, on the current volatile situation in Leh-Ladakh—which has claimed four lives and caused damage to property—Lone said that, unfortunately, whenever people strive for their rights or raise their voice to safeguard the Constitution, they are branded as anti-national elements. He termed this as most unfortunate, adding that in a democracy, the voices of all sections of society must be heard with patience.

Sangrama-Puthukha Highway's poor condition is causing frustration among locals and commuters due to potholes, dust, uneven roads, and safety concerns. To mitigate these issues, householders and businessmen are requesting the Deputy Commissioner of Baramulla to supply water for cleaning the road until the macadamisation work is completed. This would help prevent dust and debris from causing further problems.

The Transport Coordination Committee Chairman and truck union presidents are demanding the release of royalty mining, citing that their families depend on these resources. If their demands aren't met, they threaten to protest. They've appealed to Lieutenant Governor (LG) and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and resolve the issue immediately.

The transporters are seeking immediate release of royalty mining, which suggests there might be some restrictions or issues hindering the process.
The transporters claim their families depend on these resources, implying that royalty mining is a significant source of income for them.
If their demands aren't met, they'll resort to protests, which could disrupt transportation services and impact the local economy.
