Er. Magloo said that this STP is a dream project for Baramulla town. It will address the long-standing drainage and sanitation problems, prevent pollution of the Jhelum, and improve public health and hygiene standards in the town.

The Traders Federation Baramulla expressed hope that the project will be executed on priority and completed in a time-bound manner.

" compromise your faith and dignity for temporary gains": Javid Hassan Baig tells youth at ushkara gathering
Baramulla, June 22: MLA Baramulla Javid Hassan Baig on Sunday addressed a public gathering at ushkara baramulla and asserted that hooliganism would not be tolerated in Jammu and Kashmir. He said peace has meaning only when the dignity of the poor, the sanctity of beliefs and the honour of women remain protected.
Highlighting the importance of justice and social harmony, Baig said such peace should prevail across the country and for every section of society. While expressing respect for the country's institutions, he said there are certain elements working against their own people, which requires vigilance.
Addressing the youth, the MLA urged them not to sell their faith and values for temporary attractions, saying life will continue to present challenges and tests, but self-respect and dignity should never be compromised.
Assuring people of his continued support, Javid Hassan Baig said residents need not travel to Srinagar for their grievances, as he is always accessible to them. He promised to make every effort to resolve issues related to water supply, electricity, roads and other public concerns.
On the occasion, District President Shahid Ali Shah Advocate women wing President Nc Neelofar Masood Advocate , Youth District President Ubaid Shah and several other National Conference leaders were also present.

Examination Underway Across J&K; Baramulla Centres Witness Smooth Arrangements
Baramulla, June 21: Along with the rest of the country, thousands of students across Jammu and Kashmir appeared for the NEET examination, scheduled to commence at 2 PM. In Baramulla district, examination centres were established at Government Women's College Baramulla, Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla, Boys Higher Secondary School Baramulla and Government Degree College Khawaja Bagh.
Authorities made elaborate security and administrative arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Several candidates said they had appeared for the test earlier, but following the paper leak controversy, the Government of India decided to conduct the examination afresh. Students expressed hope that this time the process would remain transparent and free from any irregularities, with no repeat of the previous paper leak incident.

Revived: Historic Janbaz Wali (RA) Shrine in Khanpora Set for Grand Reconstruction

Baramulla: Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, visited the revered shrine of Janbaz Wali (RA) at Khanpora, Baramulla, and assured that the foundation stone for the reconstruction project will be laid soon and work on the shrine will commence shortly.
The more than 600-year-old shrine, an important spiritual and religious centre for devotees, will be rebuilt with a modern and aesthetically designed structure while preserving its sanctity and heritage. Janbaz Wali (RA) is regarded as a pious saint, and the shrine is expected to emerge as a model religious destination for generations to come.
People of Baramulla expressed happiness over the initiative and appreciated the efforts of the Waqf Board Chairperson. They also thanked the district administration, Baramulla MLA, and other dignitaries who have extended support for the reconstruction of the historic shrine.
