My photographs are my individual perception of the world. Photography – a simple word with a profound meaning. A habit, I have inculcated since long.

It’s not just taking a photo, capturing a moment, for me it is an intense process of conveying a message through an indeterminate process. My way of interpreting reality through light mood and atmosphere and conveying the same in an attractive and graspable way to others. y profession, living in Kolkata. Photography is my personal window to escape mundanity, my gaze to the world outside. A passion which grew more intense since 2009, when I brought my first digital SLR. Fragments of reality frozen in frames - my myriad gazes captured in a memory chip. And when I look at them again, a strange feeling overbears me. Are all these gazes perfect? Did I ever get one perfect gaze? I search for more, more and more frames to get hold of that single photograph - the perfect gaze, that perfect glimpse of reality and its interpretation, caught in a single shot.
