UIDAI ਨੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਐਪ ਦਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਵਰਜ਼ਨ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਘਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਨੰਬਰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਨੁਕਤੇ:
* ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਨੰਬਰ ਅਪਡੇਟ: ਹੁਣ ਯੂਜ਼ਰ ਐਪ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੰਬਰ ਬਦਲ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
* ਵੈਰੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ: ਨੰਬਰ ਬਦਲਣ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਪੜਾਅ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹਨ:
* ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਨੰਬਰ 'ਤੇ ਆਇਆ OTP ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨਾ।
* ਐਪ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਫੇਸ ਵੈਰੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਚਿਹਰੇ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ) ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ।
* ਸ਼ਰਤ: ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਨੰਬਰ ਬੰਦ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਐਪ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਧਾਰ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
* ਫੀਸ: ਇਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ 75 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਫੀਸ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
* ਹੋਰ ਫੀਚਰਜ਼: ਨਵੀਂ ਐਪ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੇਅਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ (Verify) ਵੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।

UIDAI has launched a comprehensive update for the Aadhaar App, making it more user-friendly and feature-rich. The most significant addition is the ability to update mobile numbers directly through the app using a two-step verification process.
Key Highlights:
* Update Method: Users can now update their mobile numbers anywhere, anytime via the app.
* Verification Process: It requires Two-Step Verification:
* An OTP sent to the old registered mobile number.
* Face Authentication via the app.
* Limitation: If you do not have access to your old mobile number, you cannot use the app; you must visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in person.
* Service Fee: A fee of ₹75 is charged for the mobile number update.
* New Features: The app also allows digital sharing of Aadhaar and verification of others' Aadhaar cards.

1. USB Type-A
