In this city, I’m talking about Sanju Samson and Rinku Singh, why they are not getting chance, and when they are trying to play, they are not able to make run

Sanju Samson has been left out of India’s playing XI for a few reasons. Despite his recent performance, where he scored a half-century against Zimbabwe, the team management has opted to give Rishabh Pant the wicketkeeping duties. Pant has consistently been preferred over Samson, particularly during India’s victorious 2024 T20 World Cup campaign. Additionally, the current team composition and strategy under the new head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Suryakumar Yadav prioritize certain combinations and roles that favor Pant’s inclusion .

Another factor contributing to Samson’s exclusion is the emergence of other players in specific roles, such as Rinku Singh as a finisher and Hardik Pandya’s return, which makes fitting Samson into the lineup challenging .

Rinku Singh has not been getting opportunities to bat in the Indian team due to the strong performances of other players and team combinations. Despite his impressive performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 and his subsequent call-up to the Indian team, Rinku often finds himself lower in the batting order, limiting his chances to make an impact. Furthermore, his exclusion from the main squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 in favor of other players like Shivam Dube, who offers both batting and bowling options, has also contributed to his limited opportunities .

In the ongoing series and other matches, the team composition and strategy often dictate that top-order batsmen get more time at the crease, leaving fewer chances for lower-order players like Rinku to showcase their skills .
