मध्य प्रदेश के इंदौर में 77वें गणतंत्र दिवस के मौके पर एक अहम फैसला सामने आया. राज्य शासन के जेल विभाग के निर्देश पर अच्छे आचरण के चलते 9 कैदियों को 26 जनवरी को इंदौर सेंट्रल जेल से रिहा किया गया है. ये सभी बंदी हत्या सहित कई गंभीर अपराधों में लम्बे समय से सजा काट रहे थे. जेल प्रशासन द्वारा पहले ही कैदियों के परिजनों को सूचना दे दी गई थी.जेल प्रबंधन ने सभी सभी कैदियों को श्रीफल देकर रिहा किया. जेल अधीक्षक अलका सोनकर ने भी इस दौरान रिहा हुए कैदियों को समझाइश दी कि वह अब कभी भी कानून हाथ में ना लेंगे. यदि कुछ होता है तो पूरे मामले की नजदीकी थाने पर शिकायत करें.
