किसी भी शहर में पुलिस और ब्यूरोक्रेसी को हमेशा अलर्ट रहना चाहिए और जनता से लगातार संवाद करते रहना चाहिए. समाज में अलग अलग तबकों और वर्गों में बातचीत, उनके लीडरों को कॉन्फिडेंस में लेना, और पीस कमेटियों को हर वार्ड या मोहल्ला लेवल से सिटी लेवल तक ऐक्टिव रखना, और इस काम को साल भर लगातार करना ज़रूरी है, जिससे किसी भी तरह का साम्प्रदायिक संघर्ष, तनाव या दंगा न हो और अगर कम्यूनल टेंशन की भनक हो, तो उसकी फ़ौरन खबर मिले और वक़्त रहते कार्रवाई हो, जिससे हालात को जल्द कंट्रोल किया जा सके. अगर सोसाइटी और एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन के बीच लगातार मज़बूत कोऑर्डिनेशन रहे तो शहर में अमन भी रहेगा और लॉ ऐंड ऑर्डर भी मज़बूत रहेगा. अलग अलग कम्यूनिटीज़ के असरदार, नौजवान और बुज़ुर्ग, ऐक्टिव लोगों को क़रीब ला कर ज़िम्मेदारी देना और कम्यूनिटी पोलिसिंग पर फोकस भी एक अच्छा कदम माना जाता है.
The police, politicians, administration and society must focus on interfaith dialogue, ensure peace committee meetings & keep social contact among communities throughout the year.
Action must be fair and balanced, no side should feel that it has been treated with any bias. The administration must not be complacent & efforts are needed to ensure that peace prevails and no communal clash, rift or violence is allowed to takes place.
