I had the privilege of meeting Prof. (Dr.) A. B. Ota, a distinguished civil servant, scholar, writer and researcher in tribal studies. He has made valuable contributions to preserving Odisha’s indigenous cultures, traditions and literature. Our meeting was a memorable experience for me. I was deeply inspired by his knowledge, scholarly contributions and dedication to tribal communities, culture and literature.
