KIIT is KIIT.

Very happy to share that 40 student-athletes from KIIT Deemed to be University will represent India at the World University Games 2025 in Germany — the highest from any university in the country.

It is a proud moment that out of 42 participants from Odisha, 40 are from KIIT, making Odisha the second-highest state in terms of participation. This reflects our sincere focus on promoting education with sports, as envisioned in the NEP 2020.

My best wishes to all athletes representing India. May they shine and bring glory to the nation. KIIT will continue to support and encourage youth through every possible way.

Congratulations Animesh. 💐💐

Very happy to share that Animesh Kujur, a student of KIIT, has created a new national record in the 100m sprint with a timing of 10.18 seconds at the Dromia International Sprints and Relays in Greece.

He breaks the earlier record of 10.26 seconds set by another KIITian, Amiya Mallick. Our Dutee Chand, who holds the women’s national record, is also from KIIT.

This makes me proud and emotional. KIIT has always believed in supporting sports and sportspersons. I congratulate Animesh and pray to Mahaprabhu Jagannatha for his bright future.

Happy to join the IndiaTrek Delegation from Montana, USA, as they observed the 249th anniversary of the United States’ Independence Day at KIIT & KISS.

Over the past week, the students and delegates have been part of our campuses, experiencing the unique blend of education, compassion, and the rich cultural heritage of Odisha. Celebrating their Independence Day together at KIIT was a moment of joy and mutual respect.

Very happy to congratulate KISSian Miss Kemiliya Murmu, a PhD scholar in the Department of Santali at KISS Deemed to be University, for her remarkable achievements.

She is a UGC-NET JRF holder and has been selected under the prestigious PM-YUVA 2.0 Scheme of the Ministry of Education. Her book, “Democracy in the Constitution of India: Perspective of Santal Society”, was released at the World Book Fair by the UGC Chairman. She has also been invited to the Red Fort for Independence Day 2025 as a PM-YUVA Author.

Such milestones reflect the power of education and opportunity. I feel proud of her dedication to Santali literature and tribal heritage. She brings pride to KISS, her community, and the country.

KIIT and KISS founded by Dr Achyuta Samanta .

30th June is the official Foundation Day of KIIT — a day that reminds me of how far we have come.

KIIT started with only ₹5000 with a dream to serve society through education. What began from two rented rooms has now become one of the most respected institutions in the world — home to 40,000 students from across India and 65 countries.

This journey was never easy. It was filled with struggle, pain, and sacrifice. But what kept us going was faith, sincerity, and the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannatha. Grateful to all who have been part of this journey.

They visited all campuses and our international standard sports facilities. It was a joy to see their appreciation for the work being done in the field of education and sports. I thank them for their kind words and encouragement.
