A Tiranga Bike Rally was successfully organised in Bomdila, West Kameng to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts, officials and citizens in a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride.

The rally commenced from Kameng Club at 9:30 AM, with enthusiastic participation from bikers who proudly carried the Tricolour, spreading the message of unity, brotherhood and love for the nation.

Organised under the theme โ€œOne Nation. One Flag. One Pride,โ€ the rally aimed to honour the enduring legacy of Vande Mataram and inspire citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold the values of unity, patriotism and national responsibility.

The rally added to the patriotic spirit in the district ahead of Independence Day, with participants riding proudly with the national flag and conveying a powerful message of national solidarity.

The successful conduct of the rally reflected the collective enthusiasm of the community and its commitment to celebrating the nation's heritage and strengthening the spirit of โ€œNation First.โ€

The Thrizino Badminton Club (TBC) inaugurated its Intra-Club Independence Day Badminton Tournament 2026 on Saturday, August 8, at the Indoor Badminton Club, Thrizino, marking the beginning of a week-long sporting celebration ahead of Independence Day.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Shri Topek Kakki, ADC Thrizino, as the Chief Guest, while Shri Abro Sidisow, GPC Balipoo, attended the programme as the Guest of Honour. Their presence encouraged the participating players and added significance to the opening ceremony.

The tournament, organised exclusively for members of the Thrizino Badminton Club, will be conducted from August 8 to August 15, 2026, with competitions being held in both Male and Female categories. Club members will compete throughout the tournament, showcasing their badminton skills, competitive spirit and sportsmanship.

The event is being organised under the leadership of Dr. T. D. Bapu, CO Thrizino and Chairman of the Thrizino Badminton Club. The tournament reflects the clubโ€™s continued efforts to promote sports and physical fitness while providing its members with a platform to participate in organised sporting activities.

Speaking on the occasion, the presence of senior officials and community representatives highlighted the importance of encouraging sports at the grassroots level. Events such as these not only promote healthy competition and fitness but also help strengthen camaraderie and discipline among young people and sports enthusiasts.

Adv. Ranju Sapon has been appointed as the District General Secretary of the Consumer Rights Organization (C.R.O.), West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh.

The appointment was formally conveyed through an appointment letter issued by Achu Bagang, State President, Consumer Rights Organization, Arunachal Pradesh (CRO-AP).

According to the letter, Saponโ€™s appointment comes in recognition of his commitment to public service, dedication towards consumer welfare, and willingness to contribute to the protection and promotion of consumer rights.
As District General Secretary, Sapon will be responsible for representing the Consumer Rights Organization at the district level and working in accordance with the organisationโ€™s constitution, objectives, policies and guidelines.

The organisation has expressed confidence that his leadership, integrity and sense of responsibility will contribute towards strengthening its activities and mission across West Kameng. He has also been entrusted with carrying out his responsibilities with honesty, impartiality, dedication and professionalism, while upholding the reputation and values of the organisation.

The Consumer Rights Organization has welcomed Sapon into the organisation and expressed hope that his contribution will help strengthen consumer protection, awareness and welfare initiatives in West Kameng and beyond.

The 61 Palizi Panchayat successfully concluded a Mass Social Service initiative on Sunday under the theme โ€œClean Palizi, Green Palizi,โ€ bringing together villagers and various community groups for a collective cleanliness and environmental conservation drive.

The initiative witnessed active participation from village SHGs, St. Xavier School Palizi students, and the All Palizi Ramda Youth Association, who joined hands to clean and beautify different areas of the locality.
