TCS is doubling down on AI and Cloud! India's IT giant restructures its AI.Cloud unit to unlock new growth avenues.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has strategically split its AI.Cloud division into two specialized units: Artificial Intelligence and Cloud. This move aims to sharpen focus and accelerate growth in both sectors. Krishna Mohan, previously deputy head of AI.Cloud, will lead the Cloud division, while Ashok Krish takes charge as Global Head of AI, and Satish Byravan becomes Global Head of Data. The restructuring reflects TCS's commitment to harnessing the full potential of AI and Cloud technologies to deliver greater business value.

JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon remains optimistic about AI's impact on humanity, dismissing doomsday scenarios. He envisions the technology significantly enhancing businesses and improving employees' work-life balance.

In a conversation with Bloomberg, Dimon described AI as a "living breathing thing" that will evolve throughout history.

"People have to take a deep breath," Dimon said. "Technology has always replaced jobs. Your children are going to live to 100 and not have cancer because of technology, and literally they'll probably be working three and a half days a week."
