Recently, after the revolution in tea by the "yevalles", "amrutula" came everywhere. Then Tandoori tea, Tabela tea, Jaggery tea, Pandharpuri tea, Basundi tea, Nagori tea and the usual old familiar Shetty's Udpi tea. All these teas have been tasted and are being taken.
Black tea, lemon tea, honey tea take you straight to the past. Home made ginger chai, cardamom chai is number one to say "Jag ghumiya thare jaisa na koi".
When my parents were in Mumbai, all my sisters decided to go and stay for one night. All night chat and tea. Real chat goes with tea. The night concert is accompanied by a cup of tea. Coffee cannot be an option for her.
A few years ago, I went to a madam's house for work.
"E chai dun ki sharbat?" I excitedly said "tea".
"No daughter-in-law! I will make black tea! Shall we go?"
I am the rustic sakhu of the village.... What is black tea called, what do I know?
I said, "Madam, maine kabhi pi nahin."
"Hey pk dekh, nice lagi hai."
Black tea came in white and white reduction. Chaila praised the tea in Malvani with "Hi tar footi chai" in her mind. Because there was no milk on that day, the black tea that mother used to give was called black tea.
Neighbor's aunt used to squeeze lemon in black tea and give that tea to uncle, then where would he go to get his liquor... then that tea was called lemon tea. 😜😜
Well, while all this is going on for tea, I am very interested in experimenting with tea. To keep a cup of water for tea, when it boils, add sugar. When it boils, put the tea powder and turn off the gas and cover it without boiling. After two minutes shake the pot well and pour the tea into a cup and drink it. It is very heavy. I call it raw tea, because the smell of the powder and the raw taste of the tea are amazing because the tea powder is not boiled... Of course, this black tea is good!!
The point is, we Akhil Mumbaikars or the crowd who have dragged their legs behind their stomachs drink tea as a craving but sometimes we drink it for hunger. Hunger is not quenched, but literally dies.
This tea is very close to our Malvans. Days go by on chai chapatis, chai ghavane, tea and amboli, stale puri and tea, pohe and tea, farsan and tea, hard bread and tea, bread butter and tea, biscuit tea, khari, toast, jeera butter and tea. Sometimes as a passion and sometimes as a compulsion...
what happened the other day The girl was taken from school at one in the afternoon. It is raining now. No matter how much you say, you have to get wet. There was a lot to it. Changed clothes and quickly put tea. Add ginger and herbal tea and boil it. A friend's phone call about to pour the cut.
"What do you do?" she
"Look, the cup of tea has just been poured. I'm going to sit and drink now." I
"Oh, it's past one o'clock. Is it time to drink tea? Then Bombalat bus pitta jaalaya pitta jaalaya..." she
"Shea! You're such a bore! You've wasted all the fun of drinking tea. Tea is tea. It's meant to be drunk while savoring it." I
"Yes. That's true too. One should never say no to a cup of tea or a woman's wheat.... Hee Hee Hee.." She
Babbo 🤭🤭🙆♀️🙆♀️
The speed at which tea was drunk sip by sip. Tea out of his mouth four times faster.
"Oh, what? A sip of tea is fine, but a woman's vat is a laich. I didn't think you would--"
"Oh shameless woman, says my husband." She hurriedly added before I could finish speaking.
"Yes. Mang ok. Naitar Lai scared me."
So what's the point hi ki, chai chai hoti hai! Hamer jaison ki zindagi hoti hai!!
A sip of tea and ऽ ཽ ......... Sometimes you don't have to say no. What do you understand?
