Delight your taste buds with this 🌾 Pongal Perfection! Creamy rice, golden cashews, and aromatic spices dance together in a symphony of flavors! 🍚✨

Traditional Sarkarai Pongal Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw rice
- 1/4 cup split yellow moong dal
- 1 cup jaggery, grated
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions:
1. Wash rice and moong dal, then cook them together with 4 cups of milk until soft and mushy.
2. In a separate pan, melt jaggery with a little water, strain to remove impurities, and add it to the rice-dal mixture.
3. Mix well and cook on low heat until it thickens.
4. In another pan, heat ghee and roast cashews and raisins until golden brown. Add them to the pongal mixture.
5. Add cardamom powder for flavor and stir thoroughly.
6. Your delicious Sarkarai Pongal is ready to be served. Enjoy the festival

Aval Payasam is a South Indian special dessert made with flattened rice, jaggery, milk, nuts and raisins , this can be made very easily if ingredients are available

📌In a pan Add 2tbsp of ghee to roast nuts and raisin , roast till it turns golden brown
📌Now add 1cup of aval and roast it slightly
📌boil 750ml of milk and add roast aval stir well let the flame be in medium
📌Now it’s time to make jaggery syrup take 1/2 cup of jaggery and add 1/4 cup of water boil it in medium flame

📌Add jaggery syrup with aval milk mixture stir well add all nuts which is roasted already

📌simple yet delicious aval payasam is ready to trigger your taste buds
