It took me just *2 minutes to send my objection* against the felling of *419 heritage trees* in Bangalore University's Jnanabharathi campus to make way for a new academic block inside the biodiversity park.

This green space is home to plant species found in the Western Ghats, sandalwood trees, and over 175 bird species. It acts as a vital lung space that *recharges groundwater and regulates temperature.* All this could now be lost forever!

To save these trees, all you need to do is *click the link, fill in a few details,* and an email will be sent to the Deputy Conservator of Forests and other authorities to register your objection.

Time is of the essence. We have only till *June 29* to act! The more of us speak up, the greater the chance this proposal, with adverse ecological consequences, will be stopped. Let’s stand up for Bengaluru’s green cover before it’s too late.
