🚀 Eyes in the Sky: Space fans, today is huge! We celebrate the launch of Vanguard 2 (the first weather satellite, 1959) and NASA’s NEAR Shoemaker (1996), which was the first to orbit an asteroid! ☄️

🇮🇳 Indian Revolutionaries: We remember the "Father of Indian Armed Revolution," Vasudev Balwant Phadke, and the tribal leader Budhu Bhagat, who both stood tall against British rule. ✊

⚡ Powering a Nation: In 1956, the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) was formed. It turned "black gold" (lignite) into power for millions in India. 🇮🇳

☄️ The Sky Falls: In 2013, the Chelyabinsk meteor exploded over Russia, shattering windows and reminding us of the power of the cosmos.

🚀 Reaching for the Stars: On this day in 2017, ISRO made history by launching a record-breaking 104 satellites on a single rocket (PSLV-C37)! A proud moment for India. 🇮🇳

🔭 The Visionary: In 1564, Galileo Galilei was born. He dared to say the Earth moved around the Sun, changing our place in the universe forever.

💻 The Digital Dawn: In 1946, ENIAC, the first general-purpose electronic computer, was introduced. Your smartphone exists because of this room-sized giant.

⚓ The Spark of War: In 1898, the USS Maine exploded in Havana Harbor, triggering the Spanish-American War.

We all know today as the day of hearts and flowers ❤️, but history shows us this date carries a much heavier weight.

🇮🇳 Remembrance: Today, India stands in silence to honor the brave CRPF jawans martyred in the Pulwama Attack (2019). We remember their sacrifice.

🌌 Perspective: In 1990, Voyager 1 turned its camera around 6 billion kilometers away and took the famous "Pale Blue Dot" photo. It captured all of human history on a "mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."

📞 Connection: In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell filed the patent for the telephone, forever changing how we say "I love you" across distances.

From the birth of the Mughal Empire with Babur to the timeless beauty of Madhubala, and the fight for justice with Frederick Douglass and B.R. Ambedkar, this day is a tapestry of human emotion.

February 13th: The Nightingale, The Capital, and The Cosmos.

History speaks in many voices today—through poetry, radio waves, and the roar of rockets.

🇮🇳 The Nightingale & The Capital: Today is a massive day for India. We celebrate the birth of Sarojini Naidu (1879), the "Nightingale of India" and a fierce freedom fighter. In her honor, today is National Women's Day. It's also the day New Delhi was officially inaugurated as the capital in 1931.

📻 Tuning In: Happy World Radio Day! From wartime broadcasts to your morning drive, radio has connected us for over a century.

🏏 Six Sixes Legend: Happy Birthday to the one and only Yuvraj Singh (1980)! A true champion on and off the field. 🇮🇳

🔭 Eyes on the Sky: In 1633, Galileo arrived in Rome to face trial for saying the Earth revolves around the Sun. In 2010, NASA launched the Solar Dynamics Observatory to stare right back at that sun.
