GORKHA PRIDE: Pasang Dorjee Tamang (Saurav) Selected for India U23 Squad

Pasang Dorjee Tamang, known as Saurav, has been selected for India’s U23 football squad for the upcoming friendly match against Thailand on November 15.

The 21-year-old forward from Siliguri/Darjeeling, who began his journey with Mohun Bagan U21, has steadily made his way into the national setup.

Saurav’s selection is a proud moment for football fans across Darjeeling, Siliguri, Kalimpong, and Dooars.

As he joins the training camp in Kolkata from November 7, many in the region see his achievement as a sign of growing football talent from the hills and plains.
