In Sanskrit, Raksha Bandhan means the bond of protection and care. Then let’s celebrate Raksha across all bounds!

The presence of a brother has never been missing in my life, so far. I always wanted a sister and I’m glad I have one. With a sweet, fiercely strong (physically stronger than me) naughty and a boss babe sister, I have embraced a non-traditional way - my sisters tie the knot of Rakhi on my wrist. ✨

Expanding this notion, even my cousin (brother) ties the thread to his sister and vice versa, highlighting a beautiful truth that his elder sister has been protecting him too. I’m filled with pride ♥️

Let’s honour everyone who has been our protector us in some way or the other. 🥰🙂

When did you last wake up early to do something different than your usual routine⁉️Well, here’s my unscripted experience!

Waking up early to do something different than doing the mundane can sometimes be stimulating! 🤩

Those who know me, know that I’m not a morning person except when I have work, travel or family commitments.

🍃While many trees are being felled for various developments, there still are some in Dehradun to appreciate nature. This quaint place amidst lush greenery with nature calming the nerves, is located near Raipur, Dehradun. I am not someone to gush over nature like William Wordsworth did in his poem, ‘Daffodils’, but this trek was a mix dose of happiness, gratitude & a refreshing makeover for my lungs!

I must share being a finicky person, I loved their coffee!! (sometimes I don't get this by spending 300-500 too). The simplicity of the place and the food cooked on earthen pots; Chulha (clay stove), appealed to me. I tried red rice for the first time and I'm glad I did!

Reminder : Take a day off from the daily monotony, forget everything and seek fresh horizons with people you’ve never met before! ✨

“Christmas is all about sharing & giving!” ✨
Like most children, I was always fascinated with Santa, his bag full of toys and gifts! 🎁 I hardly demanded anything from my parents or even had to put my foot down but yearned for this time to literally have everything from this imaginary Santa 😄 Very soon, CJM taught me that Christmas was more about sharing, caring and spreading joy which I thoroughly enjoyed. Picking up someone’s name (advent) each year during this time, praying for them and giving them a gift was fun! I fondly remember how teachers used to ask us to pray for the person and I would sincerely do so! I have no words to describe how much I miss and respect it. Carols, baubles, celebrations, decorating class and so much more..

So, let us be someone’s Santa, lift them up and make them smile! 😇
