Forgot to plan for a long weekend break? Here’s a solution, just pick-up your car & go road-tripping!!! One of my recent impromptu travel getaway finds was this underrated hill city in Uttarakhand – DEHRADUN – think lush greenery, scenic mountain views, cool cafés, buzzing food scene and an a vibe that feels worlds away from Delhi’s pollution and chaos.

We spent the weekend walking around Dehradun’s Rajpur Road soaking in the doon valley vibes, exploring the streets, café hopping between some of the prettiest cafes and best restaurants in Dehradun ☕, while discovering the city’s evolving food scene without planning a thing. And if you’re game, drive for 1.5-2hrs to head to Mussoorie for a day.

This hill city pleasantly surprised me with its charm & vibe, some popular Delhi café’s & pubs that make you feel in your comfort zone but in a different set up, vibrant atmosphere, stunning aesthetics & I came back feeling recharged and updated with the new cool vibes of Dehradun. 👉🏻 Save this little escape for when Delhi gets too loud as it’s perfect for a quick reset!

72 hours in — and trust me, it wasn’t nearly enough. 💕 From my all-time favourite restaurants/stores to some brand new gems, this Jaipur trip was a perfect mix of royal charm, rooftop cocktails & 🌸

☀️ Day 1: Started early morning, road-tripping to Jaipur, a quick halt at my go-to desi food paradise Laxmi Misthan Bhandar (LMB) on reaching the for a dal bati break (you just can’t go wrong here) before parking ourselves at our royal stay at Raffles, Jaipur. Spent the evening shopping at Bapu Bazaar with my just-can’t-miss Rabri Kulfi from Ramchandra Kulfi Bhandar, Tripolia Bazar.

🍴 Day 2: After a hearty & healthy breakfast at our hotel, we headed for lunch at 1932Trevi.This was our new find and we shall definitely go back for the awesome food and drinks amidst the most beautiful, aesthetic interiors. For dinner, we booked our table at Bar Palladio in advance as it was Saturday night. The food was great (chef’s kiss 👌) but we didn’t expect the waiting time to be that long.

🌅 Day 3: A relaxed morning later, we were off to another for some cuisine treats at Jas Kitchen. A humble eatery with food well done — new obsession unlocked! ☕💫
Our last night at Jaipur city called for some finale drinks and music and what’s better than Paro India. Their is romantic with awesome music & vibe, while the more traditional Indian space with live music on the floor below is perfect for family dinners. A new find that ended our trip perfectly!
JAIPUR you pink masterpiece — you’ve got my heart again 💖
