📝 Ingredients
• ½ cup rice (soaked for 1 hour, washed)
• 1 litre full-cream milk
• ½ cup Milkmaid (adjust as per sweetness)
• A pinch of saffron (kesar) soaked in warm milk
• 2 tbsp ghee
• ½ cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachios) – chopped
• 1 tsp cardamom powder (optional)

🥣 Method
1. Prep the dry fruits:
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the dry fruits until golden. Remove and keep aside.
2. Roast the rice:
In the same pan, add soaked & washed rice. Roast lightly for 1–2 minutes for extra aroma.
3. Cook the kheer:
Add 1 litre milk and bring it to a boil.
Let it simmer on low flame, stirring occasionally until rice turns soft and the kheer thickens.
4. Sweeten it:
Add Milkmaid and mix well.
(No sugar needed — Milkmaid gives perfect sweetness.)
5. Flavor:
Add kesar and roasted dry fruits.
6. Simmer:
Cook for another 5–7 minutes until creamy.
7. Serve:
Enjoy warm or chilled, topped with extra dry
