A recent Pew Research survey shows that opinions about India vary significantly across different countries.

According to the survey:

🇬🇧 UK — 71% have a favorable view of India
🇩🇪 Germany — 63% favorable
🇱🇰 Sri Lanka — 79% favorable
🇺🇸 USA — 45% favorable, while 50% have an unfavorable view

Russia recently showcased the Indian Tricolour from space, and soon after, the United States announced deeper cooperation with India under NASA’s Artemis program.

The partnership could give ISRO an important role in future lunar exploration and the development of long-term human presence on the Moon. India could gain valuable experience in lunar habitats, astronaut survival, deep-space operations, and advanced space technology.

At the same time, India is continuing its own independent space ambitions, including the planned Indian Space Station and the goal of sending an Indian astronaut to the Moon.

11 August is being observed by Baloch activists as a significant day for the Balochistan independence movement. Activists are calling for international attention and recognition of their demand for an independent Balochistan.

The issue goes back to the history of the Kalat State in 1947–48. Baloch nationalist groups argue that Kalat had an independent status in 1947 and that its subsequent accession to Pakistan was forced. Pakistan disputes this interpretation and maintains that the accession was a legitimate constitutional process.
