The life of bangle makers of Firozabad is miserable, risky and full of poverty and scarcity. Children working in these factories often end up losing their eyesight before they become adults. The working hours are too long. 70% of the workers don’t even get minimum wages. More than 150 children died of dengue in 2022 in Firozabad due to lack of timely treatment to them.
