salm 1:3 (ESV):
"He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers".
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (KJV):
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit".
Meaning of the verse
The verses use the metaphor of a tree planted by the water to describe a person who trusts in God, finds their nourishment and strength in His word and guidance, and therefore remains fruitful and resilient even in times of difficulty or "drought".
Constant Supply:
The tree planted by a continuous water source is not dependent on unreliable rainfall, just as the faithful person is not reliant on external circumstances for spiritual sustenance.
Fruitfulness:
The tree yields fruit in its season and does not wither, symbolizing a life that consistently bears the good works and "fruits of righteousness" that come from a deep, steady connection to God.
Resilience:
Even when drought or "heat" comes, the tree by the water does not féãr or become anxíøus, because its roots are deep, giving it strength to withstand hardship and continue to grow.
In this coming month. you and I will bloom or florish, we will be fruitful in all we do.
Say A big Amen
