*EVERY AFRICAN MUST READ THIS*
Why is it that when an African says I am into Judaism (from Israel) documented in a book written by men or humans, other Africans have no issues with them?
Why is it that when an African says I am into Christianity (from Europe) documented in a book written by men or humans, other Africans have no issues with them?
Why is it that when an African says I am into Islam (from Saudi Arabia) documented in a book written by men or humans, other Africans have no issues with them?
Why is it that when an African says I am into Shintoism (from Japan) documented in a book written by men or humans, other Africans have no issues with them?
Why is it that when an African says I am into Hinduism (from India) documented in a book written by men or humans (with a god with 6 hands, elephant nose and other features), other Africans have no issues with them?
Why is it that when an African says I am into Buddhism (from Nepal, India and Tibet) documented in a book written by men or humans, other Africans have no issues with them?
But why is it that when an African says I am into African Spirituality or African traditional religion (from Africa) undocumented (with only Nature and the Universe as their holy book), other Africans have serious issues with them?
In fact, they want to murder them. They are disrespected. Their way is demonized. They become an outcast. They are refused contracts. Even though they are protected by the constitution, national laws and various global human rights charters stipulating freedom of worship, our Parents, Uncles, Aunties, Cousins in the villages across Africa are treated with disdain and contempt. Only when there is a funeral before our city and big-town Africans go home. After the funeral, they all disappear back to the city and big-town lives hoping not to go back.
African culture is put on display only for entertainment or for some function e.g. coronation. We have Kings, Queens, Chiefs and Queen-Mothers who are Christian or Muslim and carry traditional African titles. But how can you abide by and worship in a foreign religion that originated an area 7,000 to 25,000 kilometers away, from a people with a totally different cultural outlook to life from yours and go to the Shrine for coronation or other traditional demands? Are these African Royals not custodians of the culture, traditions and religious spirituality? They want the power, pomp and pageantry that comes with the position but they do not want to follow the religious spirituality of the traditional position. Will the British people allow King Charles III to convert to Islam? No. So are Africans not lost and hypocritical? Is this not totally unethical and a corruption of our traditions?
There seem to be an ingrained instinctive reaction to hate our own cultural and religious values. Every other race in the world promotes their own culture, religion, shrines and temples.
What scares us so much about our Grandparents and their parents' parents?
Is there a self-hate programme running in our minds from slavery to colonisation that makes us want to abandon, ignore and trample on what our Ancestors gave us and they gave the world through Love?
Even the books Africans wrote in Egypt, Nubia, Ife- IFA binary codes etc gave birth to all religions and civilisations and yet we do not want to acknowledge nor respect what we created and what we gave the world. So how do other people respect us?
We do not know our history which is the history of the world. The conundrum is that other races are fascinated by our history. Only Africans run away from it.
The White man is running away from artificiality back to nature. The Black man is running away from nature towards the White man's artificiality.
We find every excuse to put down ourselves. It's a disgrace. A grand hypocrisy. It's a fundamental travesty and injustice. It is totally unacceptable. No wonder we are ridiculed and abused everywhere.
If we cannot respect or value our way, our culture and our parents from ancient times, why should other people value or respect us?
African Spirituality Practitioners have no issues with any religious African who wish to practice a foreign religion but those who practice a foreign religion have a problem with Africans who pour libation and acknowledge their Ancestors, live in harmony with nature and people and pray to the One Supreme Creator of everything, the Great Architect, the Creator of All Creations, the one, the source, the almighty God.
It's time to stop the ignorance. It's time for mutual respect. It's time for religious harmony. It's time for restoration to our DIGNITY and GREATNESS.
Someone has to say it. Why should people be afraid to say it or why should they bullied into silence for anyone to like them? African liberation starts in the mind. African restoration starts with knowledge of self. African Spirituality Practitioners must refuse to look down on their parents and their parents' parents' parents.
Respect what we have.
Blessings, Peace and Love to you.
Come in Peace. Go in Peace.
