I want to make a video on every district of India. Promotions mail: [email protected] I am a pahaadi, born in Nainital.

Even though my surname is Karnatac, I am actually not from Karnataka (though I wish I was, it is hands down my favourite state). I was born and bought up eating momos in Delhi. And now I am in the land of vada pao, Mumbai.

Surviving India's FLOATING SLUM 🤢

I went to Deonar, Mumbai - where people only live until about 40 years old.

What I saw shocked me:
- Garbage piles as tall as 12-story buildings right next to homes
- Kids playing on dangerous waste
- Dirty water pipes running next to open sewers
- Houses built right on top of trash
- Drugs everywhere but clean water hard to find

This video isn't just about garbage - it's about real people. You'll see families trying to live normal lives while breathing toxic air every day. Despite everything, they keep going.

Through videos like this, I aim to show you places that most people never see - both the hard parts and the amazing strength of the people who live there.

Tell me in the comments what part of Deonar's story hits you the hardest.

Inside India's HIGHEST village! (11, 725 feet 😲)

Imagine living where water is so rare that people invented toilets that use NO water at all! I traveled to Leh, Ladakh – a beautiful place so high up that walking makes you breathless!

I met Sonam Wangchuk, the clever man who builds ice mountains to save water for summer. On my trip, I saw amazing things:

- Special toilets that turn waste into garden fertilizer without using water
- Deep holes in the ground where people keep vegetables fresh for 6 months
- Meals cooked in one pot that save fuel and give all the nutrients needed
- A river frozen so hard that kids were ice skating on it!

While most of India struggles to find enough water, Ladakh gets rain only 10-12 days a year – less than the Thar Desert! Yet people have lived here happily for hundreds of years.

Watch how these communities use smart ideas to save every drop of water. These solutions could help other parts of India that are running out of water too!

Drop a comment and tell me which Ladakhi idea you found most impressive!

Inside India’s floating city!

Have you ever visited Dal Lake?

I just visited Kashmir and couldn't believe what I saw - entire villages floating on Dal Lake! It felt like stepping into a dream.

Over 10,000 people actually live in homes built on water. Instead of taking buses, kids row boats to school. Instead of going to grocery stores, families shop at floating markets where vendors sell everything from fruits to handmade crafts right from their boats.

- Discovered 5 floating villages connected by water paths
- Met dedicated boat riders who row 8-10 hours every day
- Saw gorgeous houseboats (worth ₹3 crore!) made from special deodar wood
- Watched kids paddling to floating schools each morning
- Learned how farmers grow food under the frozen lake in winter

I spent time with boat riders, who've been rowing these waters for 30+ years, families who've lived on the lake for generations, and how they've built this amazing life on water.

What's most amazing is how two different worlds exist right next to each other - regular city life on land, and this centuries-old water community that few outsiders ever get to see.
Through this video, I want to show you how these amazing water communities have survived for hundreds of years by living with nature, not against it. Most people don't get to see these incredible traditions! Let me know in the comments what surprised you most about Kashmir's floating villages!

Imagine living in a place where even hot water freezes in minutes!

I visited Dras, Ladakh - the coldest place in India and second coldest place on earth where people actually live! I went there during the coldest time of year to see how people manage when it gets down to -40°C and when no roads connect them to the rest of India for almost half a year.

On this journey, I saw:
- Leh's vibrant winter sports culture
- Special houses made to keep the cold out
- Ladakh is also known for world's highest altitude farming
- Turtuk, the very last village before Pakistan

While the Thar desert in India gets as hot as +50°C, Ladakh gets as cold as -40°C! But Ladakh actually gets less rain than the desert! It is known as India's cold desert.

Watch as I meet families who spend months getting ready for winter, farmers whose hands freeze while working in the fields, and how they manage everything in this extreme weather.

Through videos like this I want to show how people find ways to live in one of the toughest places on Earth.

I went to a small village in Jharkhand and discovered a shocking story that most people don't know.

Walking through the village, I witnessed:
- Every third house has a person with a disability
- Women have lost 6-7 children before birth
- Contaminated water is killing entire generations
- Pipes carrying radioactive waste running dangerously close to homes
- The tailing ponds—reservoirs of industrial poison—were seeping into groundwater, contaminating everything they touched.

The sad truth:
This village provides uranium for India's big energy plans. But the same resource that makes the country strong is hurting its own people.

Why is this happening?

Through this video, I aim to show the real human impact of industrial negligence! Drop a comment and tell me what you like most about revealing these critical stories.

What’s it like to live in the world’s largest slum?

I visited Dharavi, Mumbai – a place where over 1 million people live in just 2.39 sq km. It’s one of the most crowded places in the world, and what I saw there was both shocking and inspiring. Dharavi is much more than just a slum – it’s full of hard work, struggles and creativity.

Here’s what I learned while exploring its streets and talking to the people:
- Big Business: Dharavi’s small factories and businesses generate 100 crore every year! From recycling plastic to making leather goods, these items are even exported worldwide.

- Water Problems: Clean water is available for only 3 hours a day, and people have to collect enough during that time to last the whole day. The pipes run right next to open drains.

- Open Drains: The smell from open drains is so strong, I could barely stand it. These drains are so harmful that living near them can cut 10 years off someone’s life.

- Tiny Homes: I saw families of 10 people living in a single small room and paying minimum ₹6,500 in rent for such cramped spaces.

- Paying for Toilets: Many people have to pay to use public toilets, which are often dirty and shared by hundreds.

- Talent: Despite the tough conditions, Dharavi is full of talented people – rappers, dancers, and artists who are creating something special.

Life in Dharavi is hard, but the people there never give up.

Through videos like this, I aim to show you the realities of places that are often overlooked – their struggles, resilience, and untold stories.

Inside India’s TALLEST waste dump! (we were beaten by strangers 😨😨)

I visited the Ghazipur garbage dump in Delhi and what I saw was shocking. Imagine a mountain of trash as tall as the Qutub Minar! You can see it from 5km away, and the smell is so bad that most people can't stay there for even a few minutes. But here's the surprising part - many families actually live here.

Here's what I learned after talking to the local people:

- Daily Life: Every day, thousands of people, even small children, dig through dangerous trash without any safety gear. They only earn 200 rupees per day.
- Water Crisis: The water quality is so poor that bathing in it causes severe skin rashes and boils. One resident spent 1,200 rupees on medical treatment, so now they prefer buying drinking water at 20 rupees just to bathe.
- Health Problems: Many workers get badly injured but keep working because they need the money to survive. They have no other options.
- Dirty Toilets: Around 1000 families share just 16 toilets. Even worse, these toilets stay dirty for up to 20 days without cleaning.
- Asia's largest chicken market operates right next to this garbage dump!

Through videos like this, I aim to show you parts of our city that most people never see!

Which business is popular in your state?

I went to Lucknow to see how these men are keeping the 5,000-year-old art of bone carving alive and to cover the life of a bone carver.
During my 3-day trip, I discovered:
The entire process of bone carving.
Only 5 to 7 bone carvers are left in India.
Their next generation is trying to bring this art to the eyes of the world.

I'm super excited to share my experience with you.

Through videos like this, I aim to draw people’s attention to local businesses across India.
