Happy to see IGD at St. Stephen’s College going strong 🔥🔥🔥 One of the oldest & most popular societies in College - the Informal Discussion Group upholds the long-standing tradition of debate and intellectual engagement at Stephen’s.
Clearly remember walking down Main Corridor after dinner (not too long ago) and discovering that a Cabinet Minister / Artist / Journalist or a Writer - in conversation with students - late into the night.
Privileged to be invited back to my alma mater for an .ssc session - where some very pointed questions were thrown at me.
Some I may have been able to answer convincingly- some - maybe not. But students of are being keen observers and questioning everything - THAT is what is important and that is something valuable to be part of.

This Weekend was all about friends, places and gratitude.
1. La Martiniere College Lucknow - where all the mischief and questions started 😋
2. With rock star teacher Mr McFarland - former principal of La Martiniere for Boys - but an institution in himself.
3. The Spence Hall stage - that has minted an army of confident young men - who are able to hold their own under pressure.
4. The quintessential backbencher boy - but they are the ones who have the most fun in life 🤪🤪
5. La Martiniere has a unique architectural style and is stunning to behold even after almost two centuries.
6. Founder - Major General Claude Martin. Much before Indian politicians… he was shrewd enough to know where the wind was blowing and who to put his money on.
7. Much like Hogwarts - the school is wrapped in mystery and lore. Like these statues that are said to come to life when the blue moon is out! 😳🧐
8. The intricate details of the College Chapel- carefully restored under the watchful eyes of Mr. McFarland
9. & 10. The lovely staff at the newly opened - who surprised us with this lovely cake! Thanks for the hospitality guys and here to a fabulous innings.

I’m a big fanboy - watching lift off in front of my eyes from Sriharikota - has been a lifetime high moment.
🚨we went on to land a rover on the Moon with @ 600cr
🚨we stunned the world by reaching Mars with @ 450cr
🚨 we were supposed to start sending our own astronauts into space by 2015 with project.
🚨Buying a seat on @ 500cr (🤯) in 2025 is not a sign of our growing prowess - rather a reminder that we are a decade late & need to give ISRO all the tools to make a indigenous manned mission a reality as soon as possible.
