Roobaroo Theatre Hungry! Young! Artsy! Non Conformists! Crazy! Creative! What does an artist do when his art craves an audience? Of course, they form a theatre group.

What does a bunch of theatre-hungry people do when college is no more and the real world seems disappointingly bland? And what do restless people with a passion for the arts do while the world chews away on tasteless television and empty romances? Not for money (there is none), not for fame (hardly some), but for the plain and simple necessity of and craving for good theatre. We, so formed, are a

capable mixture of actors, writers, dreamers and your usual loonies. We're here to change some, encourage some more, and just tinker about with your assumptions a little, especially the most deeply entrenched ones. We are here to see you in the eye and bring you face to face with yourself. Call us, Roobaroo. You may, on the other hand, as well give us a call. Be a part of our group discussions where we try to get real work done between all the laughs. Join us for the rigorous rehearsals where we try to mould the real world into theatre. Or just come sit with us for a chat, chaat, and chai, after our next performance. North Campus is officially our unofficial adda. Lastly, if you're an actor, show us some action. Good with words? teacher, mummy, papa, girlfriend, boyfriend se innovative bahaane maarte ho... toh aa jaao
ulti seedhi gappe jhaadte ho... toh aa jaao
welle baith ke sochte rehte ho... toh aa jao
nautanki group khojte rehte ho... toh aa jaao
make-up karne mein mahaan ho... toh aa jaao
break-up se pareshaan ho... toh aa jaao
office, college aur ghar mein bore hote ho... toh aa jaao
aalsi ho, khote ho aur der tak sote ho... ummm toh mat aao.
acting karne ke liye 15 minute hain toh aa jaao.
