🎭 "Shhh! Kisi Ko Mat Batana" 🎭

What happens when you rewrite an entire scene just 18 hours before a performance? You create a masterpiece that not only moves hearts but sparks conversations.

Memesis, the Theatre Society of Daulat Ram College, brought an emotional rollercoaster to the stage with their powerful production, "Shhh! Kisi Ko Mat Batana." Addressing the sensitive yet critical issue of child sexual abuse, the play broke the silence on a topic shrouded in secrecy and shame. With every scene, every line, they connected deeply with the audience, raising awareness and bringing to light the impact of trauma endured by over 53% of children in India.

The courage to scrap scenes last minute, refine dialogues, and rehearse tirelessly paid off. Not only did the audience resonate with the story, but the production also opened doors for a collaboration with Delhi Police, taking the play to public spaces and schools, where it continues to touch lives and inspire change.

This is more than just a play—it’s a movement.

Inspired by real-life tragedies and the heartbreaking neglect in healthcare, Trahimaam is a gut-wrenching portrayal of betrayal, loss, and the broken trust in the medical profession. With powerful monologues, piercing dialogues, and moments that leave you speechless, this production sheds light on the greed, arrogance, and inhumanity that have crept into a space meant to heal.

This performance is more than just a play—it's a call for empathy, accountability, and above all, change. Because doctors are meant to heal, not harm.

Some stories are meant to be shared, and this one was long brewing in my heart until it found its voice on stage. 🎭

What started as a simple idea, inspired by Before the Coffee Gets Cold, turned into a 50-minute journey through love, loss, and the unbreakable bond between parents and children. 💔✨

From tears in the audience to quiet sobs during our performance, this play became more than just a production – it was a shared experience. One that reminded us of the power of storytelling and the beauty of embracing every moment before the chai gets cold... ☕💭
