Ladakh in April (and otherwise also) is pure magic 🌸

The apricot blossoms bloom and fall like whispered secrets in the wind, by June, sweet fruit will take their place.
But your heart? It stays behind…
Wandering with the petals, twirling in Ladakh’s retreating winter breeze.

I am on a mission…
A quest to cover all of the first villages in India 🇮🇳
Which were once the last!

So sometime back, I covered some 500kms+ from Itanagar to reach the remotest corner of our nation, also from where the sun rises the first; and a place where for the very first time, a counter attack was planned against the attacking neighbouring nation in 1962.

Let me take you to the ANJAW DISTRICT in Arunachal Pradesh, where I experienced India’s first ray of light in D**g Valley, relived the battle of Walong of 1962, and touched India’s first village towards the Line of Actual control between India and China.

384 KM of PURE ADVENTURE! 🛵 ⛰️ 🇻🇳

🛣️ The Ha Giang Loop Breakdown w/

📍 Hanoi → Ha Giang City (280 km | 6-7 hrs by bus - provided by Hostel itself)
Overnight journey from Hanoi, reaching Ha Giang early morning to pick up my bike and start the ride.

📍 Ha Giang → Yen Minh (100 km | 4-5 hrs riding)
Twisting roads through lush green mountains, passing through the Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate and the iconic Twin Mountains. First coffee break = ✅

📍 Yen Minh → D**g Van (90 km | 4-5 hrs riding)
The real adventure begins here! Steep passes, limestone peaks, and hidden ethnic villages. Reached the famous D**g Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO Global Geopark.

📍 D**g Van → Lung Cu Flag Tower (25 km | 1 hr riding)
🚩 Northernmost point of Vietnam 🇻🇳 – Standing at the China border, looking out at the rugged beauty of both nations. A surreal experience!

📍 D**g Van → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Meo Vac (30 km | 2 hrs riding)
🏔️ The Most Scenic Ride of My Life – The Ma Pi Leng Pass is known as the “King of Vietnam’s Passes” for a reason. The Sky Path ride along the cliff? INSANE!

📍 Meo Vac → Du Gia Village (80 km | 4-5 hrs riding)
Rode through remote villages, rice terraces, and waterfalls, before stopping at Du Gia for a night in a local homestay.

📍 Du Gia → Ha Giang City (70 km | 3-4 hrs riding)
Final stretch back to Ha Giang, passing through endless valleys and river crossings. Legs numb, butts stiff, heart full. ❤️

📍 Ha Giang → Hanoi (280 km | 6-7 hrs by night bus)
Back to Hanoi, buzzing with memories and a sore body (totally worth it). 😆

⚡ Total Distance Covered: 350 km (Riding), 560 km (including Hanoi-Ha Giang transfers)

⏳ Total Duration: 3-4 Days on the loop, plus travel time

🚀 Experience Level: Medium to Challenging (but 100% worth it!)

You know what the best travel tip for Hong Kong is? 🇭🇰

🫶🏽 Landing in Hong Kong and spending a day or two on Lantau Island 🏝️

I took a free dedicated hotel shuttle from the airport to Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel , kissed the comfy bed, and had a long, undisturbed sleep—because the following day was going to be a long one.

At the breakfast table, I sat down with my vegetarian feast and a rough plan to explore Hong Kong’s largest island.

Here’s what I covered in this order:

1️⃣ [Tian Tan Buddha] Big Buddha – You can reach here either via the Ngong Ping 360 cable car 🚠 or Bus No. 23 from Tung Chung Station.

2️⃣ Nature Trail around Big Buddha – I accidentally did this circuit, and it took me about an hour to complete. But the unimaginable views of the island from the trail made it totally worth it.

3️⃣ Ngong Ping Village – A great place to explore while casually strolling through its lanes.

4️⃣ Egg Tart at – I returned to Tung Chung Station just to try this famous egg tart, and let me tell you, the taste still lingers in my mouth!

5️⃣ Tai O Fishing Village – Home to the Tanka people, a traditional fishing community that has lived here for generations.
(To get here: Take Bus No. 11 from Tung Chung or Bus No. 21 from Ngong Ping.)

I wrapped up my day back at Sky City Marriott, sipping on a variety of mocktails and cocktails at the lounge—perfect way to end a day of exploring!

So, you already know how exploring Singapore 🇸🇬 was a blast for me.

Out of the days that I spent the country and the experiences that I did - the two I booked on app ⬇️

1️⃣ Big Bus Night Tour 🏙️🚍
I kicked off my first day with this evening city tour to get familiar with Singapore’s essence.
Our guide was phenomenal, sharing fascinating insights about the country—like how Singapore never runs out of freshwater and even its tap water is drinkable! 🌿💧

We stopped at some iconic spots and wrapped up the tour with the mesmerizing Garden Rhapsody Light Show at Gardens by the Bay. 🌟

💰 Price: ₹4000

2️⃣ Perfume Making Workshop at Sentosa Island 🌸✨
This was the experience I was most excited about!
I had never tried anything like this before, and crafting my own personalized scent with rainforest orchids was truly special.

The best part? I got to keep a fragrance that’s uniquely mine, forever. 🌿💖

💰 Price: ₹6000

What experiences would you love to try in Singapore? Let me know in the comments! 👇🏼

am sure you can clearly hear the sounds of Rajasthan and specifically Jaisalmer in this post! Isn’t it?

Last slide has no music but that’s actually the sand dunes of Indian Thar communicate with you. 🎶

Ok, so everyone plans a trip to some Sam Dand Dunes… but have you heard about Khuri Sand dunes?

An offbeat area of Thar desert, located just an hour away from Jaisalmer’s centre; is truly an explorer’s paradise.

When I went, then they were only a handful of tourists.

One night stay turned into a lucky day, as the sky showed its magical colours.

‘s musical arrangements were something that would stay with me for a lifetime.

And now, while posting it, I just want to go back 🥰🥰😍🥰😍😭

Fly AirAsia ✈️ made me spend 15 days in one of the most female travel-safe countries in this world!

🌎 Hellooooooo Vietnam 🇻🇳

AirAsia gave me several affordable flight connections from Delhi to Southern Vietnam (I chose Ho Chi Minh); with one layover. I chose the night flight ✈️

The flight was comfortable, both the times. I enjoyed my in-flight veg meal (Hydrabadi veg biryani) with my fav .asean Coconut Pistachio Latte 🫶🏽

And talking about lattes and coffees 🥹, Vietnam is an absolute paradise! I started my journey in Southern Vietnam, explored central Vietnam and eventually ended my trip in northern Vietnam.

Stay tuned for more stories from this country🫶🏽🇻🇳
