On the last day of my stay in the UK, took me on an extremely peaceful trail. In the first photo, the structure is called Devil’s Chimney, which is a rock formation on Leckhampton Hill. If you see it carefully, you will notice a twisted chimney rising from the ground. The legend goes that the Devil, provoked by the many Christian churches of the area, would sit atop the hill and hurl stones at churchgoers. However the stones were turned back on him, driving him beneath the ground and trapping him there so he could not further harass the villagers. Now he uses the mass of stones as his chimney to let free the smokes of hell.
The rest of the photos prove that the Devil is a lucky fellow, getting to chill in this beautiful place.
