Turkish Shawarma in Delhi

Tried the veg (falafel) and non-veg (chicken) shawarmas at this Turkish eatery.

- Big chicken chunks, hummus, and spicy in-house sauces on soft pita bread.

- Falafel felt dry, and no tzatziki sauce to save it.

- At ₹350, the portions felt small, and the dry aftertaste didn’t help.

Great hygiene, but I’d pick Lebanese shawarmas from Lebanese Point over the Turkish vibes of 📍Ala Turka.

Trying Odia food (1st time) in Delhi

I randomly found this place on Google and the ratings (4.4 🌟 by 1500+ on Google) and cuisine intrigued me to try it. And I have never tried Odia food before, so I was curious.

I went inside and it was dead silent. Old and rustic ambiance with worn-out sofas and chairs and a blackboard with that day’s menu.

But the server was really helpful. He told me why it’s called a hotel and not a restaurant despite it being the latter. Do you guys know why?

And he suggested me to try the Mutton thali and I did just that.
