Main Bhi Bharat Main Bhi Bharat seeks to understand, cover and report exclusively on the tribal issues, particularly the vulnerable tribal groups.

There are 705 Scheduled Tribes listed in the Constitution of India. And, if there is one common word to describe them all, it is this – Marginalised. An over 84 million tribal population still untouched by the lifestyle changes of modern India. They are among the poorest in the country and little is known about them. Every time development has tried to reach them, it has clashed with their identit

y and culture. With the result that most efforts have failed. Every time such a conflict of interest occurs, we hear various voices claiming to side with the tribes. But more often than not, the voices are those of other stakeholders, including corporates and other who claim to portray their side. Through our programme, मैं भी भारत, we aim to give the many tribes of India a voice they can call their own.

देसी मुर्गा अगर जंगल में पला हो तो वह बहुत भारी नहीं होता है. खुले में पले इस मुर्गे की पौष्टिकता और बढ़ जाती है जब इसे बोडो जनजाति के ख़ास अंदाज़ में पकाया जाता है.

असम के बोडोलैंड के लोगों के खाने में रेशम के कीड़ों (Silkworm) ख़ास स्थान रखते हैं. खाने में बहेद स्वादिष्ट ये कीड़े सेहत के लिए भी खूब अच्छे होते हैं. इसके अलावा यहां पर परंपरागत तरीके से एक ख़ास तरह की शराब बनाई जाती है. हमें एक बोड़ो परिवार के साथ इस ख़ास शराब और रेशम के कीड़ों को चखने का अवसर मिला.
