Pamban Bridge is a railway bridge that connects the town of Mandapam in mainland India with Rameswaram on Pamban Island. Opened on 24 February 1914,[1] it was India's first sea bridge, and was the longest sea bridge in India until the opening of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link in 2010.

Pamban Island is the largest island in Tamil Nadu in terms of area and is known worldwide for the popular pilgrimage site Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is the holy place in the Hindu text, as it is believed that Lord Rama built a bridge of stones across the sea to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king of Lanka, Ravana.

National Rail Museum

The National Rail Museum, New Delhi represents the splendid more than 166 years of rich heritage of Indian Railway sprawling in over 11 acres of land. Emulating the setting of a railway yard, the extensive outdoor gallery houses a variety of steam, diesel and electric locomotives along with fascinating collection of royal saloons, wagons, carriages, armored trains, rail cars and a turntable. These original life-size exhibits have been well maintained and restored. Interactive displays and models exhibited inside the Indoor gallery displays the remarkable stories related to early modes of transportation till date and future endeavors in Indian Railways. There are also some remarkable collections of historical photographs, documents, railway artifacts, static exhibits, antiquated items and old furniture which enhance the experience of around 05 lakhs visitors every year and envisioned them how a single investment of Indian Railway helped in unification and progress of India as a nation.

Prime Minister Narendra ModiJi flagged off the new and upgraded version of the indigenously-built high-speed Vande Bharat Express between Gandhinagar and Mumbai on Friday. This will be the third of its kind

The first Vande Bharat Express train was flagged off on 19 February, 2019, on the New Delhi-Kanpur-Allahabad-Varanasi route.

Today we came to Explore Marwar-Mavli Meter Guage Train in Rajasthan,Today we spent full day at Goram Ghat, Watch Full Video To Enjoy

Goram Ghat is the “Ghat” section in between Kamli ghat and Phulad railway stations in a length of 22 Km. On Mavali–Marwar meter gauge line. It crosses the Aravali hills and joins Mewar & Marwar. Goram ghat is a fairly well forested hilly tract of central Aravali situated at a height of 900 meters MSL. The railway line laid in this Ghat section is a marvel of railway engineering. Train passes through an adventurous route and crosses 2 tunnels and 172 small & large bridges.

The approach to Goram ghat is by train only. View of Forested hills, Waterfalls, streams & Lake during train safari is like discovering Aravali on wheels. Goram ghat & Jogmandi temple are a popular place of worship here.
