STING NEWZ: A bus carrying around 40–50 passengers plunged into the Padma River in Rajbari on March 25 triggering a major rescue operation. 16 bodies were recovered so far.

The incident took place around 5:15 PM at Daulatdia Ghat No. 3 when the Dhaka-bound bus lost control while attempting to board a ferry and fell off a pontoon into the river. Officials said the vehicle sank to a depth of nearly 30 feet.

According to local authorities, the bus had been waiting at the terminal when a smaller ferry reportedly hit the pontoon, leading to the accident. While some passengers managed to escape, several are feared trapped as rescue teams continue operations at the site.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Killed in US–Israel Strikes, 40-Day Mourning Declared

STING NEWZ: Iranian state media have confirmed that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed at his office during joint US–Israeli attacks on Iran. A 40-day national mourning period has been announced.

US President Donald Trump claimed on Truth Social that the 86-year-old leader was eliminated in highly coordinated strikes, calling it a “greatest chance” for the Iranian people to reclaim their country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said there were “growing signs” of Khamenei’s death, while Reuters, citing a senior Israeli official, reported that his body had been located.

The development adds major uncertainty to the escalating conflict and raises fears of further regional instability.
