This is "Ranghar"
The ancient House of Entertainment for the Royal Families,Nobles and the Subjects of the Ahom Dynasty particularly during Bihu
festivals ЁЯОК
Actually this two storeyed building is considered as one of the oldest surviving Ampitheatres in Asia continent.

It was constructed by Ahom king "Swargadeo Promotta Singha" in 1744 A.D.
Shape of the Ampitheatre is octagonal at base. Roof is shaped like an inverted Boat.
They used special thin backed bricks, paste of Sticky Rice and Eggs as mortar for their construction (not cement) and also a pulse called matimah and a fish named "Boralimach".
And also made use of powered mixed lime and bricks to cover the surface of the inner walls.
Amazingly these powder keep the inside of the Ranghar cool !!
