The plates we use every day don’t have to become waste. 🌸
Areca leaf products are made from naturally fallen leaves of the areca palm, which are simply cleaned and heat-pressed into plates, bowls, trays, and food containers, without the use of chemicals or synthetic coatings. They’re durable enough for everyday meals, yet naturally biodegrade after use, making them a practical alternative to single-use plastic and thermocol products. ✨

Today, several Indian brands such as Ecoware, Agrileaf and EcoSoul are making these products more widely available for homes, events, and businesses.
Sometimes, the most sustainable solutions are the ones that already exist in nature. 🌱

At 80 years of age, Valerian Rego is still walking more than 12 kilometres every single day just to earn a living. 🌸

The day we met him, he was carrying fewer bags because he had already delivered most of his stock. Usually, he carries way more weight and spends the entire day walking from one delivery to another across Mumbai.

Despite painful corns on his feet and the physical strain of the job, he continues working every day because he has no other option. If you'd like to support him, every small gesture of kindness can go a long way. ✨

A simple pencil can become so much more than just a pencil. ✨

At this age, Panchu Pal and his wife are struggling to sustain themselves, yet they are still trying their best to keep going. 🌸
Meeting them reminded me how quietly so many people keep fighting every single day.
But life became even harder for them after Panchu Pal suffered a stroke and later met with an accident. Even today, despite everything, they continue opening their tiny shop every morning, hoping to earn enough to get through the day. ✨
