INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS MARK 100 YEARS OF DON BOSCO IN NORTH EAST INDIA

The Don Bosco School Excellence Mission (DBSEM) organized a one-day programme at Don Bosco School, Panbazar, Guwahati, for students across Don Bosco schools of the Province of Guwahati to commemorate the centenary of the arrival of the Salesians to Northeast India. Students from 23 schools numbering 125 across Assam and Meghalaya States participated in six events.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ උප පළාතේ 6 වන පළාත් පරිච්ජේදය 2022 අගෝස්තු 8 සිට අගෝස්තු 10 දක්වා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ, මීගමුව, දුන්ගල්පිටිය, පළාත් සභා මන්දිරයේදී පැවැත්විණි. එහි තේමාව වූයේ "අලුත් කළ උප පළාතක්" යන්නයි. ඊට සහභාගි වූ සාමාජිකයින් සංඛ්‍යාව 34 කි. සුසිත් මිල්රෝයි SDB පියතුමා උපසිරැසිකරු වූ අතර දකුණු ආසියාවේ ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා මන්ත්‍රී Biju Michael SDB පියතුමා Zoom හරහා පරිච්ඡේද සාමාජිකයින් ඇමතීය.

SA Delegates of Social Communication and Formation Meet at Guwahati

The Provincial delegates of South Asia for Social Communication and Formation met at Don Bosco Institute, Guwahati to discuss on the theme, “Towards a Salesian Proposal for formation in Digital world: Educational Ethics and Pastoral Aesthetics”. The joint meet is scheduled from August 2 to 5. The presence of the Councillor for formation Father Ivo Coelho and the Councillor for Social Communication Father Gildasio Mendes and their team members from Rome, together with the provincials in charge of Communication and Formation at the South Asia level, Father K.M. Jose and Father Jose Koyickal did add a greater force and credibility to the meeting.
