While shooting the duck film, we had no idea how the ducks would react to the camera. Will they fly away? Will they run in the right direction? Will they get scared of the kids? Nothing was predictable.

Children are easy to manage.

But then, the children just started playing with the ducks — and at one point, they synced. That’s when the film started to happen.

Big thanks to everyone who stood with us and helped finish this project on an impossible timeline.

We shot the Kalari film in under an hour. The sun was about to set, and there wasn’t much time to plan or prepare. We improvised, figured things out on the go, and somehow made it all work. Super proud of the team that stood with us through it all.

When & approached us with this project, the timeline was so tight that we were tempted to say no. On top of that, it rained non-stop on the first day of shoot. Whatever we had planned - all got washed away, literally. For a while we just sat there, wondering if it was even possible to pull it off.

But somehow, in between gaps of clear sky, we found our rhythm. The whole crew pushed through with full energy, and we managed to finish the Eru Panthu film just before sunset. This film is truly the result of team spirit and taking a tough day as a challenge.

Our Kochi story “A Place Where Everyone Belongs” just won Silver at the Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival!

So proud to see this one travel far — from the lanes of Mattancherry to the screens in Japan. Another one for our awesome collaborators at and .

We’ll always remember the sweat, the sun, the late-night edits, the scooter rides through Kochi, and the hearts that made this film what it is.
