बाराबंकी जनपद में तैनात महिला आरक्षी विमलेश पाल, जो कि जनपद सुल्तानपुर की निवासी थीं, की निर्मम हत्या कर दी गई। उनकी लाश थाना मसौली क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत लखनऊ-बहराइच हाईवे पर बिंदौरा गांव के पास झाड़ियों में फेंकी हुई पाई गई — यह न केवल एक जघन्य अपराध है, बल्कि समाज व कानून व्यवस्था के लिए एक खुली चुनौती है।
शेफर्ड टाइगर फोर्स इंडिया इस हृदयविदारक घटना की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करता है तथा उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस प्रशासन और राज्य सरकार से मांग करता है कि:
दोषियों की तत्काल गिरफ्तारी सुनिश्चित की जाए। शहीद महिला आरक्षी विमलेश पाल जी के परिजनों को आर्थिक सहायता एवं सरकारी नौकरी जैसी सम्मानजनक सहायता प्रदान की जाए। यह सिर्फ एक महिला पुलिसकर्मी की हत्या नहीं, बल्कि कानून के रक्षक पर हमला है, जिसे किसी भी कीमत पर बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जा सकता।
