Two athletes of dynamic sports academy Budgam selected for upcoming national games 2023

Srinagar: Selection trials of J&K Kalarippayattu Team for 37th National Games 2023 - Goa which will be starting from 25 oct to 9 nov 2023 were successfully conducted at JKSC Hall , Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.

During the trails, 27 athletes from J&K were participated from which 2 athletes namely Prince Aqib Yousuf and Danish Ali Bhat from dynamic sports academy district budgam were selected in upcoming national games 2023 whole selection trials was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Danish Sharma - General Secretary, KAJK & Mr. Shabir Ahmed , Mr. Harsh Vardhan Raina - Executive Members KAJK. CA Lalit Gupta - President KAJK , Sh. Manjeet Singh - Chairman KAJK & Sh. T P Singh - Veteran Athlete of J&K were guests during the event.

No Drug Campaign held in kangan organised by Sultania Model school thune.

Ganderbal /September 20:A No drug campaign was organised by Sultania Model school thune on Wednesday. The awareness programme was based on the theme ‘Socio-economic and legal implications of drug abuse’.

The Programme Was Attended By The Company Commander Mammer Camp, Captain Vishal Sagar of 34 Assam Rifles , Joint director of school education Kashmir Mohd Rouf u rahmam , Deputy CEO Ganderbal Khazir Mohammad, President JKECC and JK Teachers association Shah Fayaz and Mr Yaqoob Principal High Senior Secondary School Hariganiwan.

Captain Vishal Sagar spoke on the occasion and deliberated on the ill-effects of drug abuse and highlighted the need of taking preventive measures to eradicate the menace of drugs and other social evils in the district.

He congratulate Mr Aashiq Hussain, Founder / Chairman of Sultania Model School for Organizing the event In Rural Area and educating the students about the social evil.

The organisers said the main aim of the programme was to spread awareness among the student community to take necessary steps for curbing the drug menace.



Shah Fayaz discussed the health aspects due to consumption of drugs and added that if any person is in stress or facing drug abuse, he will lend him or her a helping hand by providing counseling .



Principal of Higher Secondary ganiwan Mr Yaqoob stressed upon the social and economic aspect of the drug abuse.



Aashiq Hussain founder/ Chairman of the School deliberated upon the legal aspect by making the students aware about narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances act 1985 and the recent draft of drug policy in Jammu Kashmir.



Aashiq hussain presented vote of thanks to all the attendees.
