Day 2 of the 79th Independence Day Open Football Tournament – A Celebration of Sportsmanship & Community.

The second day at Makha Govt. Sr. Secondary School was filled with thrilling football action and a spirit of unity. We were deeply honored to welcome Shri C.D. S***a, Retired SI of the Police Department, as a Chief Guest, along with Special Guests Shri Sonam Tamang from Dipudara and Shri Nim Tsh. Tamang from Ralap, a dedicated social worker.

Match Highlights:
Snow Lion Samdong vs Gurung Goan Khamdong – A power-packed game where Gurung Goan emerged victorious.
MSC vs Rongkup Ray – MSC claimed the win with their exceptional performance.

The Open Football Tournament as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of Makha Government Sr. Secondary School.
The inaugural ceremony was gracefully graced by Shri Phegu Tsh. Bhutia, Hon’ble Advisor to the Labour Department, Government of Sikkim, whose presence added great value and encouragement to our youth and sporting spirit.

Opening Match Result:
Makha School VS Motor Vehicle Division Singtam. Victory for Makha School by 3-1.
