Had I wanted, I could have amassed wealth and built a business empire for my family.
But something kept tugging at my heart and I couldn't turn a blind eye to the wanton exploitation of the Sikkimese people. That is when I decided to launch a revolution against the SDF regime even if I had to fight alone.

सिक्किमेली कवि एनबी घिमिरे राष्ट्रिय कविता प्रतियोगितामा दोस्रो स्थानमा

इन्द्रेणी प्रकाशन, असमले आयोजना गरेको राष्ट्रियतहको कविता प्रतियोगितामा सिक्किमका कवि एनबी घिमिरेले दोस्रो स्थान ओगट्नु सफल बनेका छन्। उनको 'म्युजियम पसेको अन्तिम मान्छे' नामक कविताले उत्कृष्ट दोस्रो स्थान प्राप्त गरेको हो। भारतका विभिन्न प्रान्तबाट लगभग 60 जना भन्दा धेरै कविहरूले यस प्रतियोगितामा भाग लिएका थिए, जसमा
तेजपुर असम निवासी हिरण्य पौड्याल पहिलो, सिक्किमका एन.बी. घिमिरे दोस्रो अनि असम जामगढ़ीका नारायण शर्मा अधिकारी तेस्रो बनेका छन्।

असमको गुवाहटीमा कटन विश्वविद्यालय, गुवाहाटीको भाषा, संस्कृति तथा कला केन्द्र अनि इन्द्रेणी प्रकाशनको संयुक्त तत्त्वावधानमा आयोजित दुई दिवसीय राट्रियतहको कविता समारोहमा प्रतियोगिताको फलाफल सार्वजनिक गरिएको थियो भने बिजेताहरूलाई सम्मानपत्र र पुरस्कार राशिले पुरस्कृत गरिएको छ। प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी विभिन्न कविहरूले कविता वाचन पनि गरे।

The Shalom FC team members visited the 27 Gangtok Youth president Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia today, July 23, 2023, as a courtesy so that they may talk about the upcoming competition on August 15 that starts tomorrow.

He also sent his best wishes to the team and extended financial support from his side for their match against AK 47 at Nandok, Sikkim, and promised to offer any assistance that may be needed.

Urgent Appeal for Immediate Restoration of TNSS School Road Connection to School Ground.

I am writing this letter as a concerned resident living adjacent to the TNSS School ground. Last night, on the 22nd of July, our area experienced heavy rainfall, which resulted in severe damage to the road connecting the TNSS School ground to the rest of the neighborhood.

As a result, the road has been completely cut off, leaving us isolated and in a potentially hazardous situation.

The heavy rain, coupled with the ongoing construction work at the school ground, has weakened the road considerably.

Large trucks, carrying heavy loads, have been frequently passing through the road during the construction process, exacerbating its vulnerability.

Unfortunately, the combination of these factors has now led to the complete collapse of the road.

Due to this devastating event, an alarming amount of mud, debris, fallen trees, and even electric poles have entered my house, posing a significant threat to the safety of my family and property.

The situation is extremely distressing, and we fear that any further delays in restoring the road could result in further damage and put our lives at even greater risk.

I kindly implore the Education Department and the responsible contractor to take immediate action to restore the road connecting to TNSS School ground.

Given the urgency of the situation, I request that necessary resources and personnel be mobilized promptly to initiate the repair work.

Furthermore, I strongly urge the authorities to investigate the construction practices that may have contributed to the road's vulnerability.

It is crucial to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future, and the safety and well-being of residents living near the school ground are adequately protected.

I hope that my appeal receives your utmost attention and that swift action is taken to address this critical issue.

Please understand that time is of the essence, and your immediate response and assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

GANGTOK, July 22 (IPR): Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang met and interacted with the International Athlete and Fitness icon of Sikkim, Mr. Sanjay Budhathoki at his official residence, Mintokgang today.

During the meeting Chief Minister launched the official t-shirt and poster of the World Fitness Federation (WFF), S.B Classic 2.0, a national-level competition being held at Manan Kendra next month.

Extending his best wishes Chief Minister encouraged Mr. Sanjay to carry on with his endeavours to help and motivate the youth towards fitness and drug-free Sikkim.
