A Grand reception programme was organized at Daramdin Constituency to warmly welcome and honour Smt. Sheela S***a, Panchayat President of Rumbuk Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU), who was recently awarded at the Jal Mahotsav held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, for establishing a successful revenue model for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of village water supply systems under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Villagers, friends, and well-wishers gathered to congratulate her on this proud achievement and expressed appreciation for her dedication and leadership in strengthening sustainable rural drinking water management.

Veteran Nepali actor Sunil Thapa has passed away at the age of 68.

Thapa died on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu, after his health suddenly deteriorated.

Rajendra Bahadur Singh, chairperson at the hospital, told the Post that he was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. An ECG conducted at 7:44 am confirmed his death, with doctors suspecting cardiac arrest as the cause.
