विजय दशमीको सबैलाई शुभकामना🙏🏻

नेपालीहरूको महान् चाड दसैँको प्रमुख विशेषता भनेकै मान्यजनले दिने आशीर्वाद हो। बोलीचालीका (स्थानीय) भाषामा बाहेक संस्कृतमा लेखिएका श्लोक वाचन गरेर पनि दसैँमा मान्यजनले आशीर्वाद दिने गर्छन् ।

दसैँमा दिइने आशीर्वादमा ऐश्वर्य, आयु, आरोग्य, ज्ञान आदि विषयलाई समेटिएको हुन्छ। दसैँमा दिइने आशीर्वादमा विभिन्न देवीदेवता तथा पौराणिक पात्रहरूको जस्तै गुण होस् भन्ने कामना पनि गरिन्छ ।

आयु द्रोणसुते श्रेयं दशरथे शत्रुक्षेयं राघवे ।

ऐश्वर्यं नहुषे गतिश्च पवने मानं च दुर्योधने ।।

शौर्य शान्तनभे बलं हलधरे सत्यं च कुन्तीसुते ।

विज्ञानं विदुरे भवतु भवतां कीर्तिश्च नारायणे ।।

दसैँको बेला आशीर्वाद दिँदा संस्कृतको यो श्लोक धेरै प्रयोग गरिन्छ ।

यो श्लोकमा भनिएको छ– द्रोण पुत्र अस्वत्थामाको जस्तो आयु होस्, राजा दशरथको जस्तो श्रेय प्राप्त होस्, शत्रु पराजय गर्न कृष्णको जस्तो क्षमता होस्, राजा नहुषको जस्तो ऐश्वर्य बनिरहोस्, हावाको जस्तो तीव्र गति होस्, दुर्योधनको जस्तो मान–प्रतिष्ठा होस्, आकाशजस्तो शान्त र पराक्रमी होस्, बलरामको जस्तो बल होस्, कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिरको जस्तो सत्यवादिता होस्, विदुरको जस्तो ज्ञान होस्, नारायणको जस्तो कीर्ति होस् ।

यस्तै अर्को श्लोक छ–

जयन्ती मङ्गलाकाली,
भद्रकाली कपालिनी।
दुर्गा क्षमा शिवाधात्री,
स्वाहा स्वधा नमोऽस्तुते।

जसको अर्थ हुन्छ–

ती देवी जसले सम्पूर्ण संसारलाई नै विजय गर्न सक्ने सामर्थ्य राख्दछिन्, जो सबै अन्धकारको निदान गर्न सक्दछिन्, समयको प्रतिबन्धभन्दा पर रहेकी ती देवी, जो मानव खप्परको माला लगाउँदछिन् अनि सबै प्रकारका दु:खको निदान गर्न सक्दछिन्। यो जगत्को रक्षा गर्ने हे देवी ! यो तिम्रो भक्तले चढाएको भक्तिलाई स्वीकार गर, हामी तिमीलाई नमन गर्दछौँ।

दसैँको आशीर्वाद दिँदा वाचन गरिने अर्को श्लोक हो-

लक्ष्मीस्ते पङ्कजाक्षी निवसतु भवने भारती कण्ठदेशे।
वर्धन्तां बन्धुवर्गास्सकलरिपुगणाः यान्तु पातालमूलम्।
देशे देशे च कीर्तिः प्रसरतु भवतां दिव्यकुन्देन्दुशुभ्रा।
जीव त्वं पुत्रपौत्रैस्सकलसुखयुतैर्हायनानां शतैश्च।।

जसको अर्थ हो–

पद्माक्षी विष्णुकान्ता घरबीच सजिऊन् भारती कण्ठ माझ ।
मौलाऊन् बन्धुवर्गै सकलरिपु पुगुन् घोर पाताल आज ।।
तिम्रा सत्कीर्ति राम्रा जग-मग फिँजिऊन् देश देशै सुदिव्य ।
छोरा-छोरी बिचैमा रहनु र सुखले बाँचनू है शताब्द ।।

सबैलाई हाम्रो सबैभन्दा ठुलो चाड बडादसैँको शुभ कामना।
हाँकेताकेको पुगोस्, सुब्बेफाब्बे होस्, भैपरी नलागोस्।

A constituency level meeting of ASKCBKS took place at the residence of Smt. Prabha Pradhan Chettri (Khas) at Pacheykhani yesterday. The program was to officially appoint office bearers of Rhenock constituency. The program had the presence of President,Khas, Shri. Narayan Khatiwada, Advisor, HCM, Shri. Bishnu Khatiwada, Shri. Hemendra Adhikari, executive members from Central Executive Committee, Team Khas and Khas family members of Rhenock constituency.

The program had a massive gathering and it was committed by all to further strengthen the association and to have district level programs in all districts of Sikkim.

Bringing yet another proud moment for Sikkim, young racing driver Aarogya Dahal from Rhenock Tarpin secured 2nd position at the FIA Malaysian Karting Championship held at the Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, where participants from eight countries competed.

Aarogya has been a consistent performer in both national and international motorsport events, steadily carving a name for himself as one of India’s promising racing talents. His recent podium finish in Malaysia adds to a growing list of achievements that highlight his determination, skill, and passion for the sport.

Among his notable past achievements, Aarogya was recognised as a rising star at the Kerala Talent Hunt, made his debut in the 12-hour endurance race covering 700 km and 600 laps at the Sodi World Series (SWS) Dubai Endurance Championship, and secured third place in the Senior 4S category at a race hosted by the Motorsport Association of Malaysia (MAM) at the Sepang circuit. He has also participated in Rotax testing in Sepang, Malaysia, further honing his competitive edge.

With a track record of consecutive podium finishes, Aarogya is now preparing to compete in the full season of the SWS Dubai Championship and the Malaysia Karting Championship (MKC) later this year, representing both Sikkim and India on international platforms.

Some great news coming for Sikkim and India. Abistha Basnett of Namcheybong, Pakyong was awarded the most valuable player in the recently concluded SAAF Under 17 Women's tournament in Bhutan.

हरितालिका तिज नेपाली हिन्दू नारीहरूद्वारा विशेष श्रद्धा र भक्ति साथ मनाइने पवित्र पर्व हो। यो पर्व मुख्यतः भाद्र शुक्ल तृतीयाका दिन मनाइन्छ। जसमा विवाहित र अविवाहित महिलाहरूले भगवान शिव र पार्वतीको पूजा आराधना गर्छन्।

यो ब्रतको मूल उद्देश्य पति–पत्नीबीचको प्रेम, स्नेह र दीर्घायु जीवनको कामना गर्नु हो। अविवाहित महिलाहरूले राम्रा र सुशील जीवनसाथी पाउने आकांक्षाका साथ यो ब्रत बस्दछन्। पौराणिक मान्यताअनुसार देवी पार्वतीले यही दिन कठोर तपस्या गरी भगवान शिवलाई प्राप्त गरेकी थिइन्।

ब्रतमा महिलाहरू निराहार (बिना अन्न र जल) व्रत बस्छन्। रातभरी जाग्राम बसी, हरितालिका कथाको वाचन, शिव-पार्वतीको पूजा तथा नाचगान गर्ने चलन छ। यस ब्रतले आत्म-शुद्धि, मानसिक शान्ति र पारिवारिक समृद्धिमा सहयोग पुर्‍याउने विश्वास पनि गरिन्छ।

Representing India, Anita’s remarkable achievement highlights her dedication, discipline, and hard work, bringing pride to both Sikkim and the nation on the international stage.

Sikkim Student Tushar Nepal Sharma Secures State Rank 3rd in NEET

Tushar Nepal, son of Udai Narayan Nepal and Naina Sharma, a resident of Bermiok, West Sikkim, has achieved a notable accomplishment by qualifying the NEET examination with a State Rank of 3rd.
He completed his schooling from TNA, consistently demonstrating academic excellence with a score of 96% in his ICSE 10th board examination and 93.3% in his 12th board examination. We extend our best wishes to him for his future endeavors.
