The episode begins with Shalu confronting Lakshmi after learning something shocking from Paro. Seeing Lakshmi’s silence, Shalu gently insists on knowing the full truth. That’s when Lakshmi, unable to hold it in any longer, breaks down in tears and shares the tragic incident.

With a trembling voice, Lakshmi confesses that the chandelier accident that caused Neelam’s death wasn’t planned, nor was it her fault. It was Paro — her innocent little daughter — who accidentally pulled the rope while running after a balloon. Lakshmi reveals that she saw the entire thing unfold and, without a second thought, decided to take the blame to protect her child.

Lakshmi’s emotions are raw and real. She says she didn’t want Paro’s name to be tarnished. Even though Paro is just a child, she feared how society and the law might see the situation.
