What SRH need to do tomorrow:
Win by 88 runs if they score 220, by 87 if they score 200. All this to join GT in Q1. Else, it'll be RCB v GT in Dharamshala on May 26.

GT through to Q1
CSK's end is rather swift, they're bowled out for 140. And that means GT are through to Qualifier-1. The second spot will be decided tomorrow when RCB take on SRH.
When Dube briefly went berserk, CSK had a sliver of hope, but they've collapsed in a heap after his dismissal to be bowled out in just 13.4 overs.
CSK end the season with just six wins. A disappointing end to a campaign that only briefly threatened to surge. Lots to look back on, both in terms of personnel and squad balance for them.

Dube's party is over
Dube is gone for 47 off 17, and it takes a sensational catch from Gill running back from cover to send him back. He was just beginning to take the bull by the horns, briefly stunning GT. Bowlers kept erring in their lengths and he kept muscling them into the stands. Not anymore.

That's the score GT need to keep CSK down to for finishing in the top two regardless of the result between RCB and SRH.

Dube has come out swinging. Not a bad ploy under the circumstances. He's had a poor tournament with the bat. Perhaps this is the best way to counter that on the face of a collapse. The standout for me was how Dube thumped Holder's length ball on the up over long-on for six. His first over gets tonked for 18, Dube has swiftly moved to 41 off 15. CSK 109/5 after 10 overs.
Overs 8-10 have been tonked for 47.

Gill brilliance fells Kartik
A direct hit from mid-off and Kartik has to walk back, as he can't be saved despite a full-length dive. His weight was on the back foot, so he didn't take off for the run immediately. Gill with the cleanest of pick ups and throws. Bull's eye. CSK 63/5 in the 7th.

Short falls short
Hard-length on off, Short looks to force the pace but can only hit it off the inside-edge to mid-on. Out for a cameo 24, CSK 51/4 in the sixth

Siraj's X celebration
Gaikwadโs lofted drives through the line over cover are the kind of strokes youโd pay to watch - and the kind youโve come to expect from him. But seeing him shuffle across for a scoop against Mohammed Siraj certainly wasnโt on the bingo card. Then came a whipped pick-up off his pads for six that had the CSK crowd roaring. Siraj, though, had the final say, sneaking one through with a peach to clean him up.
One zippy bumper later, Urvil Patel's homecoming ends in disappointment as he flicks one straight into the night sky with Prasidh Krishna taking a good catch at deep backward square leg. CSK are unravelling very quickly. 29/3 in the 3rd over.
