Ajay Bhadoo Gets Six-Month Extension in Central Deputation

Ajay Bhadoo, a 1999-batch IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre, currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, has been granted a six-month extension of his central deputation tenure.

The extension will allow him to continue in his current role at the Department of Commerce, Government of India, providing continuity in key areas of trade and commerce policy.

IAS Abhishek Sehara Transferred from Karnataka to Uttar Pradesh Cadre

Abhishek Sehara, a 2025-batch IAS officer, has been granted an inter-cadre transfer from Karnataka to Uttar Pradesh by the Centre.

The transfer has been approved on marriage grounds. Sehara is married to IFS officer Priya Meena and was earlier allotted the Karnataka cadre. He will now continue his IAS career in the Uttar Pradesh cadre.

Sehara secured All India Rank 366 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan, he holds a B.Tech degree.

Bihar: 2024-Batch IAS Officers Begin Their First Field Posting

After completing their training, young 2024-batch IAS officers of Bihar cadre have begun their first field assignments. As per the General Administration Department notification dated August 22, 2026, several officers have been appointed as Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) across the state.

दिल्ली पुलिस में दो IPS अधिकारियों की नई पोस्टिंग को लेकर प्रशासनिक हलकों में चर्चा है। दोनों अधिकारियों को महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारियां दी गई हैं, जो राजधानी में पुलिस व्यवस्था, संचालन और कानून-व्यवस्था के लिहाज से अहम मानी जाती हैं। उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार, Chinmoy Biswal, 2008 बैच के IPS अधिकारी, को Joint Commissioner of Police (Operations) के पद पर नियुक्त किया गया है। वहीं, Shivendra Kant Tewari, 2009 बैच के IPS अधिकारी, को दिल्ली पुलिस में Additional Commissioner of Police की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है।
इन नियुक्तियों से दिल्ली पुलिस के वरिष्ठ नेतृत्व ढांचे में बदलाव आया है। Operations जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पद पर अनुभवी अधिकारी की भूमिका पुलिस की रणनीतिक योजना, फील्ड ऑपरेशंस और विभिन्न इकाइयों के बीच बेहतर समन्वय में अहम होती है।
वहीं, Additional CP का पद भी कानून-व्यवस्था और प्रशासनिक जिम्मेदारियों के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण है। नई जिम्मेदारियों के साथ दोनों अधिकारियों से प्रभावी नेतृत्व और बेहतर पुलिसिंग की उम्मीद रहेगी।
नई जिम्मेदारियां, नया नेतृत्व और राजधानी में बेहतर कानून-व्यवस्था की उम्मीद।

RECPDCL, a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has handed over Luhri Power Transmission Limited, a project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), to Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari Private Limited. The transfer follows a competitive bidding process for developing an inter-state transmission system linked to the evacuation of power from the Sunni Dam HEP and Luhri Stage-I HEP in Himachal Pradesh.
The project is being developed under the Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) model, highlighting the growing role of private participation in strengthening India’s power transmission infrastructure. The transmission system is expected to support efficient evacuation of hydropower and improve the movement of electricity across regions.
Such projects are particularly important as India continues to expand its generation capacity and requires stronger networks to deliver electricity reliably from generation centres to demand hubs.
The development reflects continued investment in grid connectivity, energy infrastructure and power-sector modernisation, supporting India’s broader journey toward a more resilient and efficient electricity network.
