Amaravati: Minister Kandula Durgesh revealed that the future belongs entirely to tourism. Minister Kandula Durgesh spoke at a high tea program organized by the Indian High Commission after the conclusion of the World Travel Market (WTM) - 2025 exhibition in London. He stated that he was happy to participate in the WTM 2025 exhibition and that it served as a good platform to provide wide publicity for the state's tourism.
On this occasion, Minister Kandula Durgesh invited the international tourism delegates who came to the WTM conference to AP. Stating that the AP tourism sector has industrial status and that a new tourism policy has been released, Minister Kandula Durgesh urged investors, "Come to AP... Visit local tourist places.. Invest in the tourism and hospitality sectors and contribute to the development of AP tourism."
He said that the tourism sector is a game-changer in the state's development, and in this process, there is abundant support from CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and the Centre for AP's tourism development. He recalled CM Chandrababu Naidu's comments on this occasion that tourism has a greater future than communism, socialism, and capitalism. He revealed that they have attracted tourism investments worth Rs. 12,000 crores in a period of 15 months. He stated that there are opportunities to invest in eco, adventure, and beach tourism, and furthermore, Andhra Pradesh is a suitable place for wellness centers and Ayurveda centers. He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh state Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is paying special attention to eco-tourism. He said that they are providing electricity subsidies and other incentives for tourism projects, and are working with the goal of making AP a model for the country in tourism and becoming number one. On this occasion, he invited investors to the partnership summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.
Minister Durgesh said that India is a confluence of different races, religions, and cultures. Stating that unity is their strength, he chanted "Bharat Mata Ki Jai." On this occasion, he stated that they are taking steps towards the goal of Viksit Bharat. With the conclusion of Minister Kandula Durgesh's three-day London tour, he will be returning to AP.
