Who is Ankur Yoseph Narula
He is an Indian Christian leader, pastor and cleric.
He is the Senior Pastor and Overseer of The Church of Signs and Wonders, often called “Ankur Narula Ministries” in Punjab, India.
He was born into a non-Christian family, and later embraced Christianity. His journey into ministry began from a point of deep struggle—he spoke about being frustrated by health issues, intoxication, etc., before turning toward faith.
Ministry & Growth
The ministry started with just 3 people in 2008.
Over the years it has grown very rapidly:
500 people in 2009
2,000 in 2010
4,000 in 2011; 8,000 in 2012; 13,000 in 2013; 18,000 in 2014; 25,000 in 2015; 35,000 in 2016; 60,000 in 2017.
By October 2018 the membership was around 118,000.
As of December 2023, an additional ~400,000 members had joined.
The church has also expanded its presence, with over 100 branches as of early 2024.
Practice & Activities
Regular live services are held on Thursdays and Sundays.
These services are broadcast globally (e.g. through Anugrah TV) and online.
Many people attend in person — in some branches attendance goes over the capacity of the church building, causing overflow gatherings outdoors.
Vision, Mission, Message
The mission of his ministry (Church of Signs and Wonders) is to spread the “Good News” of Jesus Christ, not merely as a religion, but as a path to righteousness, fruitful life, joy, and personal relationship with God.
The vision also involves using miracle / healing services, prayer, conferences, media (TV, internet), printed materials to reach people.
